it is an new trend and it seem for me like a Contrary of the Nanophoon

is there an nerf incomming too or should we skill this ?

No speed mod, no ewar defense, no ability to repair incoming damage.
It's a beast against battleships but it's nowhere near unkillable.

That means if you get past 24k, then he can do NOTHING to you. Stop posting unneeded nerf threads. All we need is the one of the few good amarr ships to get more nerfed.

WTF? I fly minmatar and caldari, not amarr, and I would love to come accross that ship away from a gate or station. I can think of MANY ways to defeat it, but none of them involve sitting still in web range and slugging it out. Learn to use some tactics. Hell, I wouldn't mind having a go at it in a rifter.

hm i think the can do damage at 30 km and this should not be a nerf thread it is to still too early for that

50km actually(45km optimal +8km falloff) with scorch.

throw way the cr, put on a tc maybe trow away the injector and put on a sa
no +2 hs = no need of capinj consider a slaveset as well
webber only need to tackl ships who want to run away or're closer than 3k, outside of this youll hit everything.
be rdy for a +5 min fight and be happy?
edit: as mentioned outside of 30k youll do NO DMG

a couple of neuts and you won't be keeping those guns going for very long unless you're lucky with the timing of that cap booster...
a few damps and you can't shoot anything
ecm will screw you big time
also your damage out put isnt all that great either with only 1 heat sink even with the damage bonus so it'll be easy enough for most ships to tank you
another abaddon with the standard omni tank will shred you to tiny little bits with 3 heat sinks and T2 large pulse
the only up side to that ship is as a bait ship against another other than amarr boats since you won't be shooting when you're half way through the armor thanks to those 1600 rt plates (or whatever they are)
all in all it's an average bait ship but if you're goin to build a bait ship you should have a better tank than that 3 EANM II's and a dc will get you higher resists and double how long you last once you're into hull and you'll save cap with not running the hardeners

It's a good set up, but it has some big drawbacks too. Doesn't really do too much solo. I'm a personal fan of trimark/plate tanks though :)

Actually a poor setup as armor hp <> effective hp.
You can easily raise the Abaddon to 220,000 effective hp. 350,000 effective hp with implants and gang mods.
Then again this setup is useless in PvP, whereas the tank is usefull in a CoW gang - we know that ;) __

you can raise this tank to 550k effective hp - i dont have the numbers in mind but 440k? eff.hp allround 90%+ tank ( if you pimp it out)
and no its not an solopvpship - definetly BUT its the last amarrship who makes "a bit fun"

Yeah, no way to beat it except any ship with 4 mid slots could kill you pretty easily, it'd just take you forever. (3 damps, 1 24 km scrambler)

They are talking about "effective" tank...not "actual" hitpoints.
