Its not that we need more systems, we just need a way to stretch everything that is there. Theoretically a galaxy is supposed to contain millions of stars. It seems that CCP loves exploration (like I do) so why not roll that into the mechanic? Make it take FOREVER to scan down new star systems (but still possible) so you can actually create private empires on a first come first serve basis. Granted, this can be super over-powered for the large alliances willing to devote the time and cash to it, not to mention the only way to reach the system would be to jump there. Player-owned stargates anyone?

2. At least as far as empire space goes. Newbies cant find any good areas to mine, rat or just learn the game without being pwned. I love the idea of empires separated by 0.0 It would get us loads of brave/foolish haulers traveling through our space

someone mentioned opening up the storyline wormhole, good idea as this would allow corps and alliances stuck in empire to get some 0.0 space without having to make a mad dash through already established alliances. Also just adding to the rim would mean the current 0.0 alliances would simply expand into it and wouldn't solve any problems.
However it conflicts with the storyline for those who RP, as supposedly earth and etc. are are the other side of the wormhole.. Maybe more NPC factions?

Also fix lowsec, make it a worth while place to be,
Oh and the eve universe is kinna flat so additional systems could be 'above' and 'below'
