He took about forty seconds for our battlecruiser/cruiser-heavy gang to kill, and never impulsed towards the gate. We fofofo'd when he died, 'cause it was a newbie op and newbies should learn to enjoy such things. snip sig removed due to it containing nothing relating to eve or the character - hutch

The fact that you lagged out twice in the face of a larger gang should give you an idea of what happened. If you apply Occams razor to the situation it's painfully obvious that the probability of lag increases as gang size encountered increases. Likewise there is a trend developing that the number of excuses made increases inversely in proportion to the skill of the poster.

That would be incredibly inefficient and highly unreliable. No, they were spamming chat because they're immature jerks, and revel in it. Besides the fact that chat is run on a different server, it's also ludicrious to suggest that chatspam causes client lag. Think about it. Why would rapidly scrolling text cause more lag than, say, visual effects? each of those visual effects is equivilent to a rapidly scrolling set of text. So, in conclusion, you're full of ****.
