Below is my Epic Whine about Low-Sec:
EPIC WHINE. WHATS HAPPENING TO LOW-SEC IN REV III?
Seriously why hasn't Low-Sec been improved yet? Low end BS Rats? better Ore's?

To be honest, I prefer low secs removed and changed to 30% high secs and 70% null secs. Low secs are like gangrene; useless, infectious and resource hogging.
Cut off parts that are no longer useful.

Revelations III update has been renamed to Trinity.
If you would have read the recent dev blog about exploration you would have known that low sec is getting gas clouds in Trinity.

Low Sec could be a lot more than it is today.
Cut it and you'll loose the option and Eve will just end up as a pvp zone and a non-pvp zone.
Add blackmarkets, gambling dens, smuggling routes etc, etc, etc and Low Sec could be a really interesting area of Eve.

Ah the good old days around Fensi getting wtfpwned by Pre-Nerft...
But youve got a good point, Low Sec needs some love. Have a gander at the link under my siggy or here for the detail in 'features and ideas' for a detailed explanation.
I think that style of Low Sec would be really appealing to a lot of players. See what you think.

Low sec itself isn't the problem, it's that both high sec and 0.0 offer more safety and the same/better rewards.
High sec needs to be less profitable and 0.0 needs to be more dangerous.

hahahahha, you so funny, packing 80% of the playerbase into 30% of the space would lead to massive overcrowding and lag and other unpleasantness. What we have now is fine, although we could maybe do a delayed concord responce in lowsec, with the time based on how low the security is.

The problem with lowsec is that it's more dangerous then 0.0. In 0.0 you have alliances who usually keep local blue, making the space much more safe and easy to get through.
If lowsec became more profitable (or if it gained ANY advantage over 0.0) you'd see alliances swarming to lowsec, turning it from the pirate haven it is into another version of 0.0.

I think jenny meant to turn 30% of lowsec into highsec (adding to current higsec), and the other 70% of lowsec into 0.0. (adding to current 0.0) not changing the entire map as a whole into 30/70.
Not saying I agree..just that that's how I read her argument

1. New boosters are being introduced that are produced only in low-sec and avoid the legality issues of taking them into empire, which should help boost low-sec a bit.
2. Jenny...your attitude of late seems...different...less forgiving...angrier...I think I like it.

Trinity is not Rev III. Trinity is a patch with new graphics. Rev III is with faction warfare. If faction warfare is out in the next patch then it is Rev III. Until then it is Trinity or patch 2.5.
