another example of this.
This, is a totally useless module for a logistic pilot. In my opinion, if a logistic pilots target has one equipped, the remote shield 'booster' should get a bonus.
But, next to all of this, there are other issues, that disadvantage logistic pilots.
Eg. It's close to suicide, to gang up with anyone else but corp members, when you have any agressionprovoqueing modules on.... even stuff like webber drones. which dont do dmg. Concorde will kill you instantly if you use agression provoquers on a player that is no member of your corp. That way, asking as a logistic to get a gang invite with non corp members, only will be 'safe' when he has no agro equipped at all.
So, logistic pilot cant survive when not being in a decent corp.

Originally by: y'gryd And, today I discovered that shipmodifications are something I should not look at, if I don't want to get to upset about these matters... For, joy oh joy, there is a rig, that augments the amount of armor repaired by remote modules, but no such thing for shield or cap transfer...
Maybe you should take another look at Energy grid rigs, since the rig does exist. Shield transfers did get the short straw though, that's for sure. Less efficient then RemReps, disporportionally harder to fit, and no rigs for them.

The fundamental problem with logistics cruisers is that their bonus is -15%/level.
Which is a very significant difference between 4 (-60%) and 5 (-75%).
IMO their cap use bonus should be smaller, and the cruiser should get a role bonus. -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? GMP and TNP |

I know right, remote repping, etc/ any form of helper logistics should just give a aggro cooldown to the person attacking the other. this would actually make banding together temporarily to stop pirates a reasonable thing to do, which in turn means that no nerfing of gate suiciders has to happen at all, since carebears will then have the means to protect each other.

You do realise that 2 Guardians = 8 Large Remote Reps with a range of 71km that can be ran permanently, right? That's almost 2 Capital Remote Reps from a Carrier at only a fraction of the cost. ---

So you're complaining about what are probably the most effective ships in the game because you can't web people outside your corp in high sec, and you don't need to train two weeks of skills for your logistics drones to work. Yeah, OK.

You want real love. Ask for "heal mails". You can start your own heal board and post the mails so you can determine who is the top healer.

The main thing is that eve is not like other mmos. I didnt play that many , i tried Guild wars for like a month. In that game the gangs were limited to 8 members. In EVE it 255 :). There are many things diff about both game. Main thing is that Unlike in Guild wars in EVE every person can field a very good tank by themselves. Logistic support on top that makes them very powerful. I think thats one thing that makes CCP keeping the logistic as just something you can do if u want to rather then a fully specialised profession.
That doesnt mean the logistics ships that are in game bad by any means. Couple of good logistics pilots in a small/mid size can have major effect. But If you are really want specialize in a gang support proffesion, i think command ships are for you. By training the leaderships skills and flying a command ship with multiple gang modules u can help everyone in your gang by boosting their different attriobutes including their tank.
And while you are doing this you can train for carriers to fly the ultimate logistic ship this game has to offer. Carrier can provide great "healing" support in gang while also doing great dps. It can also survive more then 20 secs even its made primary. :)
Hope this helps.

Quoted for truthiness.
OP, have you flown the logistics ships? All I know is I have never felt more confident than when my girl brings out her Guardian. It makes me feel invincible. The range at which she can rep almost makes her invulnerable. I still want to make a gang with two Guardians daisy-chained. Oh the fun. --- Amarr/Caldari, and proud of it.

What do you mean "why?" Because CCP seeded a T2 blueprint for one and not the other. Who cares why?

I'd like to see more logistic ships around :( I'm the only one in my corp, so it's always up to me to cap/rep their lazy asses. It's not really rewarding - "thanks champ, you got me a killmail :D"
I'd love to see what a group of Oneiros, Guardian, Basilisk and Scimitar can do for a gang :P

Eh, used to be better/worse. I seem to recall medium and large remotes repairing far more than they do now... but my Oneiros also didn't have that lovely 65% PG use reduction on reppers.
Kinda fun cramming 4 CPR, 1 CR, 1 T2 Med cap batt, 1 large Peroxide cap batt, 2 Prayer Targ Annex and 4x Med Solace on it and churning out 200 HP/s indefinitely though.
Granted, 4 Large Solace will get me 307.2. As soon as my wallet stops being so small.
y'gryd, you're ever in Aunia again, you can be my pet logistics while I pop Lv4 rats if ya want ;P
