ok mates, i have a little problem here that is almost freaking me out. im trying to log in, typing PW etc, its loading ... and nothing happens. im still on the loggin screen. when i press connect a second time a message pops up saying:
local session corrupt The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect. Connecting to the server in this state could lead to a rather unpleasant game experience. Please restart the client prior to logging in.
ok - i thought - maybe i should uninstall the client and just install it completely fresh. - deinstalled all of my four clients, deleted the folder in my documents, installed a fresh client - same thing keeps happening. i read about the option to write a petition abt the problem BUT - whe i press 'petition' nothing happens ^^. i started LogServer.exe - logged the whole process and saved it. pitty is - i cant attach it anywhere ^^ please mates - come up with a solution ... :(
regards, kyle
ps - tried loading up the logserver exe and link it but had to realise that my 'not used for years' free web space is gone -.-

Ok a few things you don't need 4 clients one is enough - you can run several instances of the same version [you do need a second version for Sisi]
it is worth having a shortcut on your desktop to launch it like :- C:\eve\Test\eve.exe /end /LUA:OFF for example
you will get a corrupt session if you try and log in twice as you describe in the 1st bit of your post - basically - eve is commuicating with the server and then is getting borked at that point.
if you petition <- over there you can attached the log file.
however - I would suggest - rebooting machine - getting a fresh install sorted then loggin in as a different user on your machine and seeing if you can run the client ok from there [use a new shortcut with above changes as a go]

You probably should have gone one or two maps deeper until you see a "cache" and a "settings" folder, and only delete the cache folder... Just for future reference...
