Crystal reloading idea.

What if you could load three diffrent crystal types into each gun and then cycle through them with the only delay being the ROF? Meaning you shoot one volley, oh crap the baddy is outta optimal! So you highlight your weapon and 2 other crystals are displayed you click the other one and bam new ammo. The only loading dely is it will take the normal amount of time to load the three crystals at first if you are in space. what do you guys think?

I like the idea :-) Pretty much, i mean amarr are supposed to be able to switch their range instantly and as it stand they dont.

Nomakai Delateriel Amarr Delictum 23216	Posted - 2007.10.31 01:05:00 - [5] Personally I'd be happy with the ability to either reload the entire rack at the same time with one press of a button, or (preferably) the ability to "group" together guns so that you can fire or reload the grouped guns with just one click. That would go for everyone, not just amarr. It's just that Amarr would benefit more from it as "theoreticly" you can switch damage type in just 1 second, but in reality it takes more like 5-10 seconds (at least). ______________________________________________ -You can never earn my respect, only lose it. Id like to see that tbh.

Draem	Posted - 2007.10.31 03:36:00 - [8] I believe you are allowed to use a macro to right click->change type. Though it doesn't help that you have to deactivate your guns, run the macro, then wait, reload the guns that didn't accept your Used crystals, then activate the guns.

An option to switch all weapons to use an ammo type without having do switch each weapon manually. 2. A zonking great big red 'TURN ON ZE GUNS' button that activates all weapons at once. Hopefully this will make it before my nephew is old enough to understand my pirate talk. Otherwise his visits will be spent pushing F1-F8 at the request of a crazy man. They implemented a 'reload all' function, so this would be the logical progression. Switching 8 crystals is a pain in the butt. "I got soul but I'm not a soldier"

Oh god, YES! edit: K, switched my pants. Now, to elaborate this idea: we can even overheat the entire rack with a BUTTON, an activity which is used maybe once every full moon by most EVE players. Yet, changing ammo requires deactivating the guns, right clicking each weapon and selecting the correct ammo type. While trying to maintain/get into orbit, watching your transversal, tanking sentries and raising cute little puppies. Give us the option to change ammo on ALL our weapons! Maybe a little button, left click to reload current ammo, right click and select ammo to reload different ammo. Oh dear, I'm gonna have to wash alot of pants today.
