YW did fight, some they won...some they lost, but the numbers put forth by TRI during our primetime were unfightable against (80 capitals...150 battleships). YW were attacked at a weak time of theirs, it isn't suprising that they weren't able to form up large gangs when their new corps had lost all of the assets they had in Fade, and only limited corps still had assets in Cloud Ring. The key to this issue is Morale. As I have no idea what it was like inside YW, maybe someone from their side can comment on this.

When FLA invaded CR about 7-8 months ago, they were pushed back by a lack of help from D2 with capitals, and by MC coming in and helping YW; in return YW went with them further up north. And that was the old YW, present YW is made up mostly of ex-Fallen Souls corps, that were kicked by Tri a lot of times, most of the pvp corps reformed in a new alliance called Styx. So, the YW that got kicked out by Tri is not the old YW. PS: Even the old YW wouldn't have stood a chance. I think goonies have proven pretty conclusively that they're not overawed by individual SP superiority. Tri are masters of blitzkreig tactics to be sure, but would they endure the months-long Stalingradeque POS-grinding war that goons would bring? of course in the real world, goons are busy with BoB, and an attack on them would be an attack on the whole coalition, which might be too big a mouthful even for Tri. CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

We all know its not feastible. The size as it was, already crippled some of our ships, when tri's blob camped the cyno POS, we lagged as madness. Only way to fight would be to have a fleet of 100 carriers in system, launch all fighters, warp to POS and say Qa'pla in teamspeak, and watch server crash, and servernode crash while fighters/pos happily kills AFK/crashed ppl. And its no fun, neither for us, or them.

Also loosting a few MS to the leaving corps wasnÆt a real avantage. But this is an complete other story. Short before all this happend we merged in a a ***load of new corps, which was known under the name ôThe Fallen Soulsö. All thoose guys was more or less out of money, so they wasnÆt able or willing to spend to much in the upcomming war. Next serios problem of corse old and new Y never fight togther before. And as each pvp guy knows thats a serions problem. Also i assume they never real identfied themself with the Fade and Cloud Ring Region. TRI by themselves showed up a brute force with about 160 battleships and about 80 capitals. No question Y wansÆt able to stand vs this fleet. Also I realy donÆt have guys which can spend 23/7 in front of their computer. During this short war a lot of other peeps jumped on the bandwaggon. Not that they count to much for the result, but it gets difficult and more annoing if you get attacked at all corners at once. So there was two options. Waste all the time and ressurces, or use what Darknesss kindly offered and just pull out. And now I have to sort out the good and the ônot that goodö corps within Y a progress which already started. What we will do in the future, well letz see. I personal feel happy to be out of that time consuming pos crap. Either way that was over a year ago and you can ask our allies and see if they think we dont enjoy the pew pew. Im not here to bring up the KOS crap, i was just curious about wtf has been happening elsewhere in eve. and if we are so super crappy then there are others way below us such as ISS (who surrendered to us in tene) among others. so talk your jive all you want but KOS is strong and happy. Back to my original topic: either way GG Tri, im sad you guys couldnt get a fight cuz I got some good friends in Tri and know of your pvp abilities. Keep it up I like to see an old-school PVP alliance back in 0.0 power struggles. Its a refreshing thing to see. I was in YW when you guys invaded and the day my corporation joined and you were taking C4C Morale was very low Corporations were saying they were leaving everyone was just blaming each other it was pretty pethetic actually.
