The problem here is the fact pirates are making money off killing newbies in 1.0 space. That was not CCP's intentions. And the pirates know it.

Quote: This is a serious question: How does people that transport megacyte in industrials think? Do they go some thing like this:
"Ok, so today I'm gonna transport 15000 megacyte, worth 100M+. What ship should I use? I can take my battleships, it's damn slow, but has lots of HP. I can take my frigate, it's damn weak, but moves at 5km/second. Ahhh, no, wait, I take my industrial. It's ³ber slow and has no hp at all. That must be the best choice."

dude you are the but 1 most stupid player i have ever seen, say you wanna transport 1 million mex, u take ur friggy ill take my indy... --- "this song reminds me of the girl i met on a schooltrip, she was really nice, and she really liked me. Having Alt/2nd Chars blasting indys and noobs is definently an exploit.
However, combined efforts of a group of PC pirates to capture valuable cargo should still be permitted, even in 1.0 space. Valuable cargo should be escorted no matter where you are taking it.
CCP Please just protect the noobs without hitting PvP gameplay. I'm not a pirate, but I like what they bring to the game.

Quote: Actually I believe Molly said it best: The only space your safe in is the space you're alone in.
Molly's opinion and yours put together and multiplied by mine still isn't worth jack squat. CCP have made it clear that >0.5 space IS intended to be 100% safe from other players, whether you approve of it or not.

I'm fairly new, so don't flame me if this is a stupid response. If you want to hold true to life, yes someone can get robbed in Beverly Hills or any other considerably safe area in the world. So the possibility should be able to exist in Eve. However, if you commit a violent crime in a highly patrolled area you become a major fugitive and are actively hunted down. Access to stargates and stations would be instantly shutdown and a posse sent after you. This would also be applied to anyone looting a destroyed players ship in a high security area to take care of the partner-in-crime.
