I have two main concerns for low sec: WHERE I LIVE 23/7.
Low sec should reamain bubble free to preserve that pvp aspect. If I want bubbles, I go to NPC null. That game mechanic already exists. I don't want to see this game reduced to 0.0 or high sec (or even worse sov or high sec), and I won't be around if that happens.
Second, I personally think there should be some sort of scaling damage to low sec gate guns and/or station guns (don't care what they do with high sec gate guns). This might involve sig, tracking, or whatever. However, even if this idea got enough support to get into the game, I would beg for this:
Please try a small change, less than what is believed to be necessary, first. I would rather something need another 7.5% with a future patch than to make the game mechanics worse by overdoing it. <-CCP should really take that sentiment to heart.

Come check out my platform! I'm a Faction Warfare pilot (who also spends time with other characters in high sec) and am intimately familiar with the issues you are talking about, and have addressed them in my writings.
Here is my campaign announcement thread here in Jita Park.....
There is a platform .PDF linked there for you to check out.
Also, Marc Scaurus has a Q&A with low sec candidates, you'll probably find it useful.
And last but not least, Marc Scaurus analysis of the candidates on low sec issues.
Enjoy, and please come out to vote this March! o7 |

I agree that there should be no bubbles, and that gate guns need to scale their damage so that frigates aren't insta-popped by them for no good reason than "it's a game mechanic".
