looks very useful
The author is not an Eve pilot but I think he got help from 3 who are
"Monitor youra Eve-Online character's currently training skill and ISK balance. Has a skill timer and custom links and extra details on a flyout. By running multiple instances you can monitor multiple characters on multiple accounts"

Back on topic, no i don't use it. EVEmon works perfectly under vista, and that way i don't have to use the sidebar. Also, EVEmon has loads of extra useful features.

Crysis on XP/DX 9 looks the same as Vista/DX 10 if you edit the config files to unlock the very high setting for XP.

I use it.
EVE is one of the few games that works flawlessly on Vista x64.
And Vista is the best iteration of Windows yet. Slightly better than 98SE to XP/2000 (And don't even talk about Windows ME... please)
DX10 is not very useful as developers are afraid to require it to play games. The most you will see from it is extra eye-candy that can be enabled for people with Vista DX10. The more useful features (such as using the geometry shader for integral parts of the game) won't be seen for half a decade or so.

i would if i could figure out why it doesnt work, userid and then some sort of key?
doest give info where to get one or why i have to no instruction on how ya get it to work.

The key is the API key/number that is generated for you, under "My Character" part of website. (Use the short one; not the long one)
Put in the API key, and then select your character to monitor.

I like the Vista gadget... works well, simple and clean looking. Eve-mon turned me off simply because I don't need the functionality it offers. I just needed a thing that showed me I have X amount of time left.

I use EveMon too, an excellent program
but this widget is simplicity itself and shows all characters on each account
I use EveMon when I need more than just "skill time remaining"

Your probbably the most clueless crysis player on this board. and your just bitter you bought a new ****ty OS thats pretty much linux/mac with higher system requriments with no added dx10 benifits, and its already known dx10 works with dx9 microsoft just has that going in your head that it doesn't.

Ive been using Vista since late Febuary, and ive never had any problems what so ever with it. Ever. Thats right. Now call me a fanboy all you want, if being a fanboy can produce real hard FACTS like 0 bluescreens or such, then ill happily be one.
Oh and every single game ive ever tried works great. Go figure..
All of this Microsoft hate really starts to get old, its so damn pathetic guys.. Everyone jumps on the same hate-train just because its the new hip thing to do. Its about as pathetic as the **** on radio, everyone jumps on the same train every new month.

If you claim that there is no difference graphically between dx9 and dx10 you need glasses. CoD is a good example, as is Hellgate London with the fluid dynamics smoke.
And i DONT CARE if those effects would be doable in dx9, because i didnt frackin buy the entire OS just for dx10, and im sure most of us didnt, we arent as stupid as you weak-minded folk that cant form your own opinions based on fact rather than group pressure..
I got it because its the next best OS. Yeah you heard me. Its the best OS ive used so far, and you can whine and be jealus that it works fine all you want, i dont care. And i wont go into details on why its the best OS so far, too many big and few reasons to mention here for ppl who already "decided" to hate.
It was the EXACT same thing when XP was released, everyone moaned and btched about how crappy it was, because they, just like now, couldnt be bothered to form their own opinion. Then they got sick of it and tought, what the heck, maby it aint so bad? Now look where we are, +95% use XP today.

I use it, it keeps me up to date on my skill training and keeps an eye on my wallt. Useful for keeping track of contracts going through ( by seeing your wallet change in value)

Its not that dx10 looks the same as dx10 its that you don't need vista to use dx10 microsoft just lied to everyone to try and get people to use there new os.
And as for vista being the best microsoft os it may well be very stable but its also a complete biatch to use, they've removed all the menus and hidden anything you might want to find (including the run box) in the search system so you have to know what you looking for to be able to find it, this means that it is actually a lot harder to use than xp, a lot less user friendly and a lot less usefull for the power user.
And...
1) Yes i have used it,
2) I actually quite like microsoft as they make the worlds leading operating system and software developement packages (and linux is just too much like hard work for my liking) |

I lol'd. Been using Vista on the laptop and gaming box since January. Hit the fawking windows key and type in your run command. They eliminate a step and people still b***h and moan...
Yeah, for the first few months it was hard re-learning where everything was but now that I've got almost a year under my belt I recommend Vista to everyone and wouldn't go back. SP1 early next year!

Sadly my Vista instalation got lost in a dual boot attempt ( note: Do NOT put up second OS in case Vista is up, it can be done, but its a pain. Vice versa works great ).
