Dictors are based off of destroy hulls, meant primarily to take out interceptors and frigates. And currently a riced ceptor will go faster then a riced dictor because the dictor has an inherently higher mass anyways. A snaked/polycarboned/gistii-a type dictor with 3 million SP in navigation will ALWAYS go faster then a T2 fitted unrigged ceptor with a pilot that's only 5 months old. He should be going faster. Whereas a snaked / gistii / polycarboned ceptor will laugh at a similarily equipped dictor as he outruns said dictor.

And to all the naysayers:
I've seen nano fitted Ishtars used to good effect (look at KOS losses if you don't believe me). They go around 5km/s
I've seen nano fitted sacrileges used to great effect (one of our gang's pilots uses it, 4.5km/s. Think an uber fast cerberus with slightly less tank).
I've seen nano'd cerberuses used to good effect going ar around 3.9km/s.
Now look at these, and wonder how the hell a normal dictor is going to survive against ANY of those if said dictor has a cruiser's sig radius, a frigates health and tankability, and the speed of a battleship (2km/s). They go in, they bubble, they run away. That's my eris tactic, I only get to shoot if the rook in our group jams said target and if the rapier webs said target. Then and ONLY then do I dare get close, and if you say that is somehow overpowered, well then you've got to nerf recons too then.

anyhow with that said, i think something kinda does need to be done to tame dictors, however, i certainly dont think nerfing dictor speed is the way to go, speed needs looking at as a whole issue on its self, not by nerfing individual ships.
/Theo
Agreed... I wouldn't ***** so much about this nerf if they were nerfing ALL ship speeds (I don't mind ceptors going faster then me, that's something I can live with). I'm just ticked that I'm going about as fast as a freaking TYPHOON, nevermind most speed crusiers.

"Interdictors" were "too fast"?
Does "too fast" mean "faster than Interceptors"?
Does "Interdictors" actually mean "Interdictors with Polycarbons"?
Does "Interceptors" actually mean "Interceptors without Polycarbons"?
So was the original problem "Interdictors with Polycarbons were faster than Interceptors without Polycarbons?"
Help me out here.
Basically most ceptor pilots were *****ing because a gisti'd polycarboned dictor with implants in were going faster then thier T2 fitted non implanted non rigged interceptor.
