Good luck to all FLA:ers, you guys will be an asset to any alliance! TI is lucky to have you.
Right, time to log on a drop a few names to my CEO, maybe we can snag a few people before they join TI.

Deklein was a great place to be during the MC invasion, no one person was fully responsible for the defence of the area. I myself cannot take whole credit, Bobby Atlas and Di-Tron, the FCs at the time, KVEC, AMESH and pretty much everyone in FLA contributed to the defence of FLA during those times.
I remember both leading Bobby and following under him, those were fun times. I wished you luck when you left and I hope that you continue to succeed.
My memory being as bad as it is sometimes I've forgotten a lot of what happened, I do remember certain things and I can happily say lessons have been learnt and acted upon.
I find it a shame that former brothers would be at each other's throats but alas.

Ah, well, a bad taste in the mouth tends to linger. You know how sometimes you have a good curry, then burp 2 days later and think, "I gotta get me a curry..."
It's all good, though, we're doing well now, and life is good, and you, coldkill, are fondly remembered. Keep kicking ass, mate.

That sounds right... I laughed every time local lite up when she was on.
I had some great times in FLA and it's where I found out Bobby was a crazy bastard and I'd have more fun following him into a fight than anyone else. Weeble and a couple of us getting jumped my MC caps (They cyno'd in more CARRIERS than we had SHIPS) at a gate camp and the whole election deal. Good times but I'm glad their memories. ;)

It's sad to see the FLA disband, we had a short but interesting fling first as residents during the Deklein period, later as members, and we parted ways wishing each other only the best. I always hoped we'd join up with you again when our paths would cross again.
What else is sad, is that ppl use this thread to place irrelevant comments on the FLA alliance. Whenever an alliance that has been a part of EvE for so long is disbanded, it's a thing to mourn, not to start commenting on the mistakes they made. Respect what FLA stood for, or just keep quiet MrMunro Co-CEO Pilgrims Corporation

As our esteemed CEO mr. pookie has stated HYDRA you are in for a bit of fun. We are building our forces and are interested in more than a gate camp this time. 8) To Count Montecarlo and Teeknuckles of HYDRA. If you challenge us dont be surprised when we bring it a little heavier than you expected hehe.
As for leadership, TI runs under a different than ordinary flag. We remain independant with our corps. They are all self sustaining and do not need the alliance to survive. However from time to time we will happen to be in the same place to make things more interesting for our targets. In this alliance everyone has a say as to what happens noone is better than the other. This will be our gratest strength, no politics, no BS, just killing everything in sight.
"When the game turns so sour that numbers can beat tactics, then get yourself larger numbers and your tactics will then again be the deciding factor."
WildCat
Oh and as for my personal short list of desired targets.... HUZZAH and BIG I havent forgotten 8). Let the fun commence
Good philosophy. Also, I believe it will take you approximately four weeks to completely crush Hydra. If that. Looking forward to a strange new universe in which Burn Eden is contesting for Sovereignty.

As the last President of the Freelancer Alliance (FLA), it is with great pride, and more than a little nostalgia, that I announce that FLA has just merged with Terra Incognita. Effective today, the FLA as an alliance is on the shelf.
Having grown in then been driven from our homes in Deklein, we sought our future in the South. There, we continued on our path, regaining our strength but, without pointing the finger of blame, letÆs say we were disappointed with the way things went and found limited opportunity to really establish ourselves to the degree we felt appropriate. Unlike Stella, in A Street Car Named Desire, FLA has never been inclined to have to have ôdepended upon the kindness of strangersö.
As we looked around, we discovered there were two alliances who respected FLA over all the others. ItÆs interesting to note that these were the two premier fighting forces in the entire universe, Terra Incognita and Mercenary Coalition. Interestingly we have fought with and against them both and itÆs in this context that they came to appreciate our tenacity and character. We are proud to have had the chance to fly with and against them both and equally respect the character they showed in battle and after.
Recently, we were approached by key members of Terra Incognita with the idea of joining forces. After careful consideration, we agreed that this looked like a marriage made in Heaven. Combining their military might with our administrative and industrial capabilities creates a paradigm where the whole exceeds the sum of the parts. Accordingly, we readily agreed and are now in the process of completing this merger.
As such, although the FLA, as an alliance, has ceased to be active, the special qualities that made it unique amongst alliances hasnÆt disappeared; itÆs simply been transplanted under a different flag and with it the new Terra Incognita will set about executing its own plans for the future with a new vision.

Ya...like totally!
We had over 100 in P3 last night defending the system. You had 16...errr...'attacking', I guess, and all the while accusing us in local of exploiting game mechanics by having a few loot cans (spoils from TI wrecks hoarded that evening I might add) around the gate!!
Saying that though, you've pretty much mastered the art of long range sniping, perhaps something HYDRA could/should learn from.
Either way, you've made this game far more interesting for me recently and I doubt I'm alone so thanks for bringing it and GF

Or perhaps it would make more sense to look at *why* such a vibrant, active alliance now needs to be "mourned." If I were still in FLA, I wouldn't be telling my mates to stop the negativity, I would be trying to figure out what went wrong so that it wouldn't be repeated in the future. You can only learn from mistakes when you acknowledge them.
I can tell you one thing - this sort of "no negativity" thing is exactly what led to its end.
