The whole story is bogus. 1. The macro miner would most likely log off then back on and be free. 2. Macro miners tend to run in packs. 3. They have been known to have attacks ships. 4. I ummed and err'd for days on days. finally said i cant do it for free. so an agreed price was settled on. 1.00 isk I theb asked said target if my curse could be used on his raven,,,, needless to say. i took out his t1 drones. then proceeded to take his shields down and then armour and finally his Hull. neddless to say he was not happy. I abused my power and trust and the said target was a **** anyways. NUFF SAID! Its a shame i took 1.00 Isk from URG Thrash to kill Portal Realm. - At last the Gallente can finally lay claim to saying... "my DICtor" is bigger than yours.

I was in my Purifier he was in his apoc. we got talking on the way. in the end I was like dood can i test my locking time on your pod?! if you seee me locking you and yours worried just reboard your ship., He ejected from his ship not once but TWICE. 2nd time around i passive locked him and fired off two cruise missiles. after that i was the humour of my old corp... "dont let gris test his locking time on you lol". proceeded to keep his best named mod apoc. Oh yeah and then there was the time i had scuba leah conviinved i brought my old account off ebay and lost ALL my ships bar one. well he invited me to his gang I warped to his mission.. took some cans he asked to test my tank ... as i returned fire. he warped off i followed but not before bm's a wreck. he got away so i returned to his mission spot. waited for him then 10 mins later he warped in. i took his raven from him. Scuba Leah no hard feelings but i am always gonna pop your ass. - At last the Gallente can finally lay claim to saying... "my DICtor" is bigger than yours.

Jacked the tax up to 100%. He FLIPPED out saying that he needed to make ISK. Said torture continued for 24 hours. Next day we let it back down, he began to rat again in systems dedicated to friendly alliances. We hunt him down (<3 the member locator) and pop him. Geminate ISK farming Raven B Not as much fun but still mentionable. Grossly over-taxed him and demanded corp fees. Recieved all faction kit he found. Sadly he left corp before we could hunt him down =( (we did hear that some blues found him and killed him tho, we congratulated them. Never dishonored a ransom, never will, but a few times we've misled targets in order to get them into our sights (in all situations said targets were either naive or greedy, ultimately causing their own demise.

You cannot pod someone if they stole from your can and got flagged. I've checked this out like 2 months ago. Anything you do to that pod that is hostile concord will show up. It's a myth that some miners use to scare off the noob ore thieves ... someone even had a picture of it posted long time ago where supposedly they are podding an ore thief in high sec ... I haven't tested the following though. I heard it is one kill per aggro timer so if someone was to eject from their ship after taking something from a can supposedly you can kill the pod then. But if you killed his ship, you cannot kill the pod. guide to game time codes

Once the victim was in structure, every member in the gang was required to drop 1 million in the pot and was entitled to one drone of their choice engaging the target. Whoever got the killmail would get the money in the pot.

You log off, what's there to target? You lose target lock and scram turns off. Player logs back on and heads back to station. There are so many holes in that story and you sir fail for believing in that rubbish. If he had said 5-10 minutes I could maybe believed that but nobody afk's for six hours in a belt no matter what sec your in and macro miners are not that stupid. I uncloak 2000km in front of him lock scramble and dampen just for giggles. He releases his drones and I pop them quickly and leave the procurer alone but still scrambled. I took his shields down and took him into low armor. He begins to beg and plead for his ship and gave me the same old sad story about how he just bought the ship with all of his isk boo hoo hoo. So I keep his ship at hull for about 5 minutes then let him get his shields all the way up and take them back down. I rinsed and repeated about 2 more times. The last time I leave him alone for a good amount of time. Unscramble him (to give him a chance to actually get away) and begin to do damage on his hull. I end up popping his ship and then podded him for good measure. I love screwing with noobs who come out to mine in low sec.

Anyone else care to confirm? yep, you can scram/web a pod in highsec if it's got agro on you without concord saying a word, you can't blow it though. it's odd but true, and amazingly not many people know this, but it's funny to keep people stuck/force them to log.

Dont you "emergency warp" off to a randome safe spot where you wait 60 seconds or untill your aggression timer has expired to vanish? I think the warpscramblers keep you aggressed and prevent you from warping off... you can log but your pod/ship is still stuck and online right where you left it.

II So, one good ol' day in Mies I had the nerve to ask 'which belts had the best ore?' in local, trying to find easy pickings. A younger character (probably an alt) said in local that he was happily mining in a mission belt and was immune to ore thieves. I convo him and ask if we can gang and I can mine in his belt because "Ore thieves are really bad around here today" .... so true So he gangs me and I warp to him, bookmark his jet can and start my work. About 10 minutes later, there was 1.5mil ISK of Veldspar in my hangar and tons of smack in local The ore wasn't too valuable but I always get a chuckle knowing how much time it must've taken to mine it, as I'm pretty sure the victim was in a Badger.

(did get a bounty though, should have had it faster but stupid me didnt think to put a scrambler on the ship) so i guess the worst thing i did was suicide gank a pod in highsec after blowing up his ship, condors are annoying although i don't think i got ore thieved (yay alts) for a while after that

One of the more recently podded sent me an evemail letting me know I should ask someone entering our system if they mean any harm before killing them. I replied with "oh whoops! tell me next time you are jumping in and I'll let everyone know". He did and he was swiftly ganked. It actually worked three times before he got it. Other fun thing I've done to a newish players is to rig up a battle Interon fitted up with a web, scrambler, and tech 2 light rail and go flip cans. I can't even count the number of exequrors I've popped by can flipping in an industrial. Good times!!
Stephannus Calimben mUfFiN fAcToRy	Posted - 2007.11.15 18:59:00 - [56] Edited by: Stephannus Calimben on 15/11/2007 18:59:33 was bored once while gatecamping (slow night) so i decided to log my hauler alt on and do some ore stealing. stole from a couple guys in some silly nub corp. he started getting all mad in local, and when i went back he was there in a kestrel. he dared me to steal from his can again..so i did and warped back to station (silly nub, why would you think i didnt have stabs?). he and a couple of his buddies then proceeded to camp me in station. traffic picked up so i was going to log my alt off...but decided to instead undock every few minutes to keep aggro against them. they ended up camping me in station for 2 1/2 hours. another time we were gatecamping again with the united (when i was in SS and we were still friendly with them). a hulk jumped in and we quickly locked it down and took it into structure. our CEO had convoed him and asked for ransom, and he accepted as he was half into structure for 300m. i was a little stoned so i was slow on the draw, and when we were ordered to deagressed it took me a second to turn off the launchers on my raven. i suddenly realized i hadn't done it in time and a full volley of cruise missiles were already midway to the target. OH ****! the hulk went boom and our very moody (in the nicest way possible cookie :P)CEO hit the roof. Not wanting to be the be the target for this rage-fit, i edited the killmail to show one of the united guys having the killing blow and posted it. CEO saw the post and flipped out even more, calling him primary and we quickly locked and popped his BS i felt kinda bad at the time, but once they backstabbed us while we were still blue, my sympathy went out the window. in my mind i'm we're even for the rigged drake i lost when they turned on us, so no hard feelings guys :P ______________ ...mmm fire... ______________

As for them running in packs, 99% of the time they're in noob corps, so they can't attack you. And, the timer starts at 15 from the last act. So, every 15 min it would renew. Don't know if this story is true.. but, still the winner on here. I'll have to try it out one day.
