Just got this report from one of our pilots, Bellus Solteuer. After reading it, I think I'll be training up Evasive L 5 again!

I was in HED antagonizing COW members for the better part of the afternoon, but I logged for dinner and came back to find they'd been whiped out by Storm Guurd Elite. So, I notice this big blob in G-M andmake the 40 jump trip down to TPAR from empire and observe some Techell/m0o members moving about. I immediately assume that m0o has a fleet up and they're going to try to take one of our stations...
HOWEVER, once I jump into G-M I find out from some guy in a noob corp that m0o and Techell are mining there, not camping gates or planning to invade. So after I talk with this guy for a while I get bored and decide that i'm going to log... But the bloodlust takes me! I hadn't killed **** all in days, so I just warp to the first belt and low and behold there are the m0o bastards and Techell haulers. They're killing rats and covering the Techell miners. Before anyone can lock me I've bookmarked 3 of the closest cans and warped out to a safe spot.
I have to be honest, at this point I was really scared and it took a lot for me to ball up and jump into the middle of a nine ship moo fleet. So after the first set of booked cans things were better. I would warp in, target whatever cans I could get two locks on, paste them with one dose of Devastator cruise missle each, then bail as fast as possible. The first attempt fekked up because i warped away before my cruise missles could close the 15k difference so they lost lock and blew up.
So the next time I warped in, I immediately hit the mwd and took a track that would cover as many degrees of arc as possible, which, apparently worked like a damn charm. They couldn't hit me at all. I must have taken 30-40 rounds of ammo from all the b-ships there over the course of a half hour and they only scored one hit for a measly 18.1 damage.
Immediately*****iness sets in and I begin to lay into thier helpless bistot cans one by one. Warp in, fire, warp out...all of which takes only seconds. Eventually, after i'd killed about 10 cans like this they all started bugging out of the system or logging out. I think I raped about 20+ cans of bistot in the half hour I was there. Apparently they were stocking it for Techell haulers or something.
Wups! 
I'm sure someone will say something like, "You are cowards for attacking those defenseless cans!" Bull****. Anyone who warps in and shoots at anything protected by m0o has some balls.  Our pilot took a chance at a target of oppertunity and succeded. I'm curious to see if this is confirmed or denied, but one thing is for certian: Interceptors are nasty if employeed correctly!
EDIT: BTW, the ship was a Caldari Raptor.

Not impressive at all.
Anyone with half a pea brain and the skills can fly the ship and dodge the BS. If lagged it might get more tricky but on the whole if you can make decent bookmarks and know to push the MWD button its a walk in the park.
It accelerates in 3sec to 3k/s and can fly out of anything anywhere.
Or you need to set up a grid of propulsion jammers with every long range skills.

Sorry Fuze, but you're just plain wrong there. It's an easy tactic for a BS to fire off missiles, force the frig to push the MWD button, and then blast the bugger with your guns. It's why Rifter's are good, but not uber.
The Interceptor has the ability to dodge and maeuver easier, and it takes a BS AGES to lock onto it. If you're so sure, try rigging a Vigil and playing with some m0o BS. I'm sure they'd be willing to let you try.

Nice work.
I i've done it several times before in a rifter, i ganked an EV indi carrying megacyte and zydrine (can was locked :( ) under the nose of two battleships. Didn't get one hit.
It's all in the trajectory ;)
Good work, i'm training frigate V now as we speak :)

Why do I get the idea Tyrell Corp own a Raptor BP and this is simply a story to try and promote Raptor sales.

rofl, does your pilot have any screenshots of this happening?
I was there most of the time and havnt seen any pilot in a frigate in the belts
I've asked my corp members on TS, noone seems to remember any of this
seems bull**** to me..
btw, with a frigate this is perfectly possible,
just hope they/we wont get a wrecking shot ;P |
