What are you facing? it varies from corp to corp depending on who war dec'd you. ROE: you're at war, there are no rules of engagement...just stick together, fit out combat ships, and kill whatever war targets you find. Concord: War dec nullifies Concord so those nifty little ships with the white/grey crosses will do nothing to interfere unless you accidentally shoot a neutral. Time Frame: at least a week. it'll be more if they decide to re-up the war dec after that -------------------

Pretty much what Shina said above. There are no ROE. You can be killed and podded anywhere in space and Concord will not intervene. You basically have a few options.
1. Stay docked and hope your aggressor gets bored. BORING!
2. Pay them. Not a good option, you'll just become even more of a target when people learn you pay up.
3. Fight back! If you're a PVP corp, this is obvious. If you arn't, then fit up a bunch of t1 fitted frigates and cruisers and go out and have fun! It doesn't matter if you lose them, they're cheap as dirt.
4. Hire mercenaries to fight for you. Self-explanatory, I think. Take the money the corporation is asking you to pay them and pays mercenaries to hurt them, instead.
Hope that helps.

I really like that last option, witch seems to be the smartest. IF your like me and have no interest in PVP mind you.
Everyone create an alt. Alts join the corp, mains quit to NPC corp. Just create a separate chat channel and go about your business as usual until the 'clowns' get tired. If they shoot your main anyway, then enjoy watching Concord have a field day!
But to answer your questions.. -Concord wont lift a finger -No rules of engagement, imagine that you are in 0.0, only they cant pod you. -This will go on until the other guys get tired of paying the wardec fee (witch is pretty small) -there is the chance that these guys have been doing this for a while, and are probably pretty efficient at wiping out new corps

That tactic is petionable/bannable. I don't recommend you try it.
If you decide to undock, make sure you keep a close watch on local. If someone with a red star next to their name jumps in and if you don't intend to fight, dock immediately.
Do not haul stuff around in a hauler without someone scouting you.
Do not jump into a system without knowing what is on the otherside.
Don't undock in/with anything you can't afford to loose.
If they do manage to catch you and blow up your ship, don't smack talk them. They killed you fair and square because you ignored my previous advice. Smack talking them only makes you look like a newb and actually encourages them to hunt you more.
If you must say something in local, say something like Good Fight.
Good luck on your war.

Dude, grow a pair and fight them. Or fight them and use mercs as backup help. Or join a big alliance and learn how to fight.

They may not ban you, but they can lock you into your corp for the duration of the wardec. Had a corp try it on us after screwing over a business deal... they got dec'd and started to disband only to form another corp with all the same members and CEO.
Needless to say we dec'd the second corp, petitioned it and poof, they were locked in until we got bored of waiting for them to grow balls. Solo station camping 2 battleships with one inty and no backup ftl ____________________ Hi. I'm not an alt :) |

that is not what has been suggested. it's not the same leaving a wardecced corp to FORM another one, than to join a NPC newb one, which is what has been suggested. and even so, they won't ban you for that.
u guys seriously need to L2READ and get a clue about what you're really talking, instead of making up stuff about something that has not even been said here because you read it wrong.

I was just responding to the other guy who said they'd get banned, which I said they wouldn't be. You are right about plan they suggested, however lame it may be.
And to the OP... get friends to run them off. Ask Avaricha if it's ever happened to her corp.... ____________________ Hi. I'm not an alt :) |

All avaricha knows what to do is run 30 jumps when one of our guys in a frigate enters system.
And to the OP a 7 man t1 cruiser gang can inflict serious damage to a large more heavily armed gang. Your gonna need some EW support to pull it off and good coordination but it is very possible.

Actually we did it with 2 blackbirds, 2 caracals (non damp fitted) 2 thoraxes and 1 vexor. Our target was in a 10 man gang with 2 cruisers (thorax, vexor) 4 BC's (myrm's drakes) 3 BS (megathrons) and 1 Cmd ship (Eos)
We killed off the Eos and the 2 cruisers at the loss of both of our thoraxes.
Racial jammers and ventrillo ftw

Fight them, use frigs and cruisers, use heavy electronic warfare, ie Blackbird, Celestis, Arbitrator Maulus, Griffin and Crucifier. Low cost and it could be fun.

Being a game, that's all that matters. If you're enjoying yourselves, continue to do so. Who cares if you're taking losses? If you have an idea what ships they're flying, do you know if their losses cost them more than yours? That's always fun. 11:6, depending on the ships, can put the total war cost in your favor. They're already out the WarDec fee of 50mil (I think)...
If the fight is good, sometimes it's worth losing the ship over. As people say, over and over, never fly something you're not willing to lose. Especially if you can't afford to replace it. Never assume that your 40mil ship will best your target's 3mil ship. --------------- *1) Do CCP, eve-online makers, should make more surver ?

Never pay the ransom. This will only help them do it again another day besides often they will continue the war dec even after you have paid up.
Possible courses of action to avoid conflict:
Quite often if you all spread around the eve universe the corporation that war deced you may find logistically speaking the dec is too expensive to continue and may call it off. You will hear words like "we will find you" but often they wont and often they wont be bothered to fly 42 jumps to camp one of your members for hours and then have to turn around 55 jumps to camp another corp. member.
Use alts. If your main is war decced then dock at a system you believe could be hostile to your enemy with a few skill books and then continue playing with your alts. Your aggressors may use alts to watch for when you log in. If you locate to a system where there are fewer player you will be able to work out which alts they are using. Much easier to do than people think
You cant be pod killed but your pod can be suicide killed so if you are destroyed donĘt hang around warp to a safe point.
Warp core stabilizers. They are worth every penny and are cheap and easy to manufacture. Travelling from system to system with one point added to your scramble strength will help. You would need to be scrambled by at least 2 people to be immobilized. You take scan strength and targeting range hit but otherwise very effective.
Cloaking devices will prevent you from being probed out by the hostiles. If a hostile pops in system you can cloak this is a valid and legitimate tactic.
Remember you are fighting people with accounts not just an eve online account. People will forget that you are fighting a person they will get bored and distracted given time you can take that into consideration. Typically station camps wont last that long and if you logout for a few hours they will find that frustrating.
Jump clones are useful if your standing are good enough to use them then you should do so. Wait until a number of active hostile are camping your station then jump out. They will become disoriented.
Keep changing locations. You war dec corp. may use locator agents but it will be difficult logistically to track you down if you keep changing systems.

Again, you guys are not seeing the point of what that person was suggesting. He was suggesting they leave their corp and fill it with alts. Run the corp with the alts, and then reform the corp after the war. *That* is evading the wardec.
