You meant: Missiles dont always hit (burn out before impact) or dont do much damage on impact (target movig fast).

Rokh is basically mega level dps, the difference is pretty small, non-existent if the rokh uses shorter ranged faction ammo. Its a decent boat, and better than mega vs cruisers and such, but that doesnt really justifies the additional cost. on a regular fit w/ spike the mega outtracks and outdps the rokh. btu you are right the rokh heavily outtracks the mega using faction ammo.. besides the mega is much cheaper and more comfortable to fly and does not need a ancy router/rcu to fit its guns.. probably the comming tarcking comp change will give the rokh a lil more omph nerfing the megas tracking ability further at +190k..

The cookie cutter armor buffer templates dont work as well on a caldari as they do on a armor tank of any other race. Oh, before I forget, both setups? the thron has more dps, and thats not even counting the throns drones ewar or otherwise. it can kill nano setups, and can also haul ass and run if necessary. So that means the thron is still better. just not flat out hands down anymore. Fly a raven before you think you can use eft to make a setup for one. no buffer tank is the way to go. i agree with the nasty gamesguy (stilll i think his setups suck but imho i just prefer to play differn perhaps:). anway lets check: with my buffer tank i can achieve 120k efective hp while still having 115hp/s passive. with a active tank and full gank you never gonna be competitive against the above stats why? With full gank and active tank the best tank you can fit consist of x-l II, cap injector, 2 x invul giving you a whoopy 450hp/s cap stable for 2 mins givibg you arround 100k effective hp after 2 mins. To fitt such tank you eitehr need 2 x anci router and 2 x co-processor I x or 1 x anci router and 1 pdu and 1 dg co-processor. So you need to spend ****load on fitting mods, sacrificing 2 high slots (arround 100 dps) and end up with less hp than the buffer tank. but please tell me a setup with TP AND MWD (trust me with a effective torp range arround 5-25k you will need one!) that can effectively fit a sustainable active tank:) imho the only way to go active is if you fit cruise missiles leaving you enough grid/cpu and especially 2 additional mids AND lows for tank.
