1. Make many more variaties and sub classes of ships.
3. make a type between cruiser and bs's that cost around 15-20mill

5. A fighter class frigate that cost around 1-2 mill and has something around 300-400 size powercore, 400hp shield, 300hp armor, 80 cargo capacity 3-5 highslots, 2-4 launcher hardpoints and 2-5 turret hardpoints, 2-3mid and 2-3 low mod slots.
6. black market
7. mining class frigates lot of cap and 4 turret hardpoints, 400 cargo, low shield and armor and rather slow.
8. Courier class ships (mentioned before) or a kind of frig that is good for smugglers, good cargo bay, 1-2 highs lots possibly no highslots, but 4-5 mid and low slots. And around 200 powercore and 100 cpu, and high targeting strength
9. Carriers is also a neat idea

Low income/Second Hand/Obsolete POS's. 7. Space Dungeons 8. 0.1-0.4 POI's/Incentives 9. Salvage! 10. Autodock Option added to Autopilot
Clarifications:
1. Basically cheap, weak, gutless wonders, but having unusual (high/medium/low) slot arrangements that require more careful module balancing. ex. Amarr Mobile Weapons Platform (4/1/1 slots) (heavy frigate sized), Minmatar Packet (cruiser sized) (3/5/3). Adds a 'customization' and personal quirk element to freelancing as well as new models and historical feel.
2. Tracking bugs fired from a standard missile launcher. Once they hit the target, you can autopilot to that targets destination as long as you don't log off (Breaking the connection) or they don't initiate a repair module (finding the bug and eliminating it).
3. These make freelancers more flexible, allowing repairs in deep space without having to dock.
4. Allowing your 'rep' to grow in a legitimate manner and earning you accolades/status etc. Note would also be attatched to each kill in the history as to whether it was a Contract or Bounty. Also see Contracts, below.
5. Contracts - Non Sec based Bounties placed by players, but must be assinged, like an escrow, to a specific hunter who would collect the Contract prize. Game awards the Contract to the named recipient when the target is podkilled. Contracts would, obviously have an expiration date.
6. Solar Stills, Private Garden Satelites, MicroFabricators, etc. Limited income POS's that require a resource fed to them to produce a trade goods. Smaller, more portable than the big corporate POS's, but producing at a much slower rate. I'd figure homesteaders would use similar modules, and Freelancers could set these up in oddball places to provide a side income. # of objects one could manage would be limited of course by skills. Can either function under the umbrella of a Control Tower/Power Generator, or independantly at 1/10th their normal output speed.
7. Actively agressive Pirate Bases, with cyclical 'raiding activity' that plagues nearby 'high sec' systems over the course of a week. Kill the pirates/base and it resets the cycle to 0 activity and begins again OR teleports to a nearby system and begins again. Guarded heavily, but with guards scaled close to the sec of the system its placed in.
8. More reasons for 'intermediate' players to venture into these systems, whether more points of interest, space dungeons, slightly increased demand by NPC's for the goods of higher sec space, better ore distribution, better loot tables, storyline reasons, better missions rewards. This has the added benefit of benefiting economy, giving piracy more lifelines to raid (not wreck mind you), and more interest/use for about 15% of known space open to us.
9. The other mining! Gleaning isk from the wreckage of Eve's prior conflicts, including, but not limited to: Damaged (repairable) modules, non-perishable trade goods, abandoned drones, data core dumps (POI/Hidden Station/Scenario leads), refinable Scrap (New Ore type(s) with random yields), Obsolete Ship/Equipment Blueprints (see above), NPC corpses (For scenarios).
10. Ability to use autopilot to fly directly to a station and dock with it as part of the autopilot instructions.

I don't know how I could have forgotten this, but..
0. Bring back always-moving ships. ie. dropping out of warp doesn't bring you to a stop, but keeps you moving in a straight line. Being scrambled in alignment doesn't stop you, but keeps you moving in a straight line. I can't count the number of times I've activated a mwd after dropping out of warp only to realize I'm not moving.
Also, please rethink mines. They're unneccessary and don't need to be a part of the game. Right now the only useful purpose for them is to lay a few hundred and lag the render engine to hell and back, which is somehow considered a valid and legit 'tactic'.

- New ship classes, maybe even allow players to obtain npc ships like the mercenary commander
- Salvage! Being able to salvage abandoned stations etc. Have tugs that tow wreckage back to stations so they can be reprocessed. Large ships to hold debri so they can travel through gates. Larger ships leaving wreckage behind when destroyed would also be nice, laggy but would create a salvage class of player to clean up. Empires could pay salvage crews to remove dangerous debri from gates and trade routes
- To be able to board enemy ships, use the marines you can buy to board and steal sutible damaged ships. Then you or a corp mate could come back and pick it up.

5 - Official freelancer recognition (i.e. Not just a member of an NPC corp but a registered freelancer).

1. Allow more release on and many original BP T2. If one T2 has been ouf of market. Why competitor can't find also the solution and get T2 ? Release 4-7 times T2 original BP item.
After all it not really fair that some corp producing at max slot(5-10) of theirs items, not making any BPc and selling their product at 1-10m for one unit of T2.
2.Allow corporation listing by LANGUAGE. Insert 1-2 box for corp languages. For all other non english cultures. I don't know how many we are, but I'm sure we represent more that 20% of eve population and we all love out native language and we try hard to regroup ourself. Give us tool to do it !
3. Use of more hangars in a personal station. I hate to organize my stuff into containers to avoid the anarchy of my items. -Organize by type. Do they are really organized like market(ammunitions, energy subsystems, energy upgrades, shield subsystem, shield upgrade, etc) ?
4.Scanner display by TYPE don't sort correctly stations (probably station name don't contain keyword "station"). Some station are top, some are bottom... Try it in Pator or region containing amaar/minmatar stations.

A few idea to throw in the pot
Hanger folders. I am running out of spare ships to store things in.
Weather. ok your probably going wtf??. What I mean is something along the lines of ion storms that close a warpgate for a short while. or magnetic storms that make using certain items difficult if not impossible. e.g. You launch 4 missiles in a magnetic storm and 2 of them just explode(by design not by bug) and 1 of them has there speed reduced to 75% so missile combat would be very difficult. but projectile weapons aren't effected.
Custom color schemes on the ships. Lets face it if I owned a condor IRL I would probably paint it black to set it apart from other peoples.
The name of a ship to appear on the scanner instead of/as well as the name of the player.
Some of these might have been dismissed as unlikely before but they asked what would you like not what is possible.

-folders! -a recycle option under the right mouse button. -make recycling in containers possible in stations (quickfix for folders) -Make it possible to recycle more things at once. -the recycling window, is there any logic in the order in which all your stuff is shown? I'd like to see this alphabetically ordered so I know where to find stuff in the long list.
So you can have a container named recycling, and if it's full you recycle all this stuff at once, without having to move every item to your hangar and then recycle it item by item.
This are not typical freelancing features, but recycling is one of the most annoying things for me.

- Stock market - let me invest in major corporations.
- Black market - including drugs.
- Search My Assets - or at least the ability to filter the asset window by (chosen) system/constellation/region/corporation.
- Freeing slaves - slavery is a major plot driver in EVE. As a vehement opponent to slavery, I end up with a bunch of slaves sitting around that I can't do anything with except space. Let us manipulate the human 'cargo' types - with a cost and/or a benefit. e.g. Freeing a slave, costs 100ISK apiece, and converts them to homeless. Investing 10K apiece really frees them, and affects your faction standings.
- Market Alerts - let me know (optionally - for a fee) when an order is met in full, or about to expire.
- Exportable transaction logs - I want to do some number crunching on my old data, look at trends and so forth.
- Agent-style mission creation
- Enhanced minibrowser - More linky goodness, and some in-page Python support would be awesome. I'd like to move some of my personal calculators away from CGI. Read-only interaction with in-game data would be superfly.
- Ship Decals
- Offline Training - through the web interface, please. Some of us work from not-home :-(

3 ideas I like a lot, lot lot, and are not my own.
1) free the slaves(100isk) to homeless, give homeless a chance in life(10k) for standings rewards, is an excellent idea.
2) market whre npc's participate responding to supply and demand is allso a very nice idea.
