I usually buy stuff by the masses off the market and end up with tonns of goods spread all over the region. It would be handy if the assets page has a column 'Number of jumps' to simplify the collection of those goods... of course the column would be sortable, kinda like you have it in the bookmarks.

I have suggestions for players dedicated to agent missions and who achieve a uber high corporation rating like 9.8 or above.
1. Players that achieve a perfect or near perfect faction score, say 9.8 and above should be given a reward like stock in the company with divends. This would pay the player a weekly "salary" for an award for all the hard work.
2. Upon achieving this score the player should be given an uber present by the corp as a show of their appreciation to that player for saving their corp butts over and over again a thousand times over. This could be a butt load of implants, like 100 or something or a new shiny battleship with the corp logo painted on the side. (I especially like this idea).
3. Upon achieving this uber score the player should be given a uber hard mission. Something different than the ones that they have previously conquered (probably with ease). One especially fond mission idea that I think would be cool is to give the player a NPC rat mission in which the player has to destroy a pirate that has stolen and is using a new and uber powerful weapon (like a siege launcher with assault launcher firing rate). Upon killing the pirate the player must retrieve the weapon from the loot and return it to the corp. Should the player chose to keep the uber weapon for him/herself, he/she would reap its benifits but at the expense of a massive corp rating drop. I think this would be a interesting delima for players to experience.
The basic idea is to give players that achieve this diffulcult task somekindof reward comemorating their achievement.
Please post your support if you think this is a good idea.

Multiple ISK accounts for a character -- one checking account used as the present account is, and also the possibility to have a second savings account that one can automatically split a portion of one's earnings into. ;) This'd probably help us impulsive buyers out here..

1) A NPC bank that makes loans. Don't pay your loans, the bank confiscates your equipment until it's repaid.
2) Jumpdrives that fit on more ships than Titans.
3) Shup module targeting & the ability to blow turrents off of ships with precise enough weaponry.

++Details++
1a- Drone Specilization: Skills that require DroneInterfacing 5
1b- More Drone types: 2-4 new atack drones, 1-2 defencive drones (ones that shoot down inbound projectiles or disrupt sensors/weapons or recharge shields etc), bring in the other mining drones (standard through elite), repair drones, etc.
1c- Better (or customizable) drone AI: Particulary for mining drones, currently its more costly to use harvisters in 0.8 or below because its difficult to retrieve them in case of NPC pirate threat. For atack drones add the ability to set their AI such as "attack weakest, attack closest, attack strongest" and "attack only on order, eliminate all threats" and "attack seporate in groups, attack as one, attack in fomation" (this could be a check box menue avalable through the drone bay)
2- NEW ships: Not the same ships with diffrent skins and an extra wing, please PLEASE add new and orrigonal visual content. I dont think many people would have a problem downloading a 100meg patch packed full of new stuff!
3- Release tech2: Castor was supposed to release tech 2 but I dont think anyone gives a crap about a small graviton smart bomb II or a small shield booster II, get tech 2 in already!!!
4- Player-owned stuff: The conquorable stations is neat but completely out of reach for the majority of Eve's players. Travled 40-some jumps just to find out it was gona cost me 33million to dock my battleship >.< I've heard its comming but please dont screw us over like you did with tech 2... please x.X
5- Market accessability: Allow players to either search all regions (perhaps at specific stations with long range broadcasting technology with a small price tag attached) or view market quotes while travling in space.
6- System automation: Eve may be largely AFK but many of the activities within Eve are AFK related. Automation such as activating modules while autopilot is active, ore being transfered to cargo cans/other ships and automatic activation/deactivation of modues while attacking or defending. Wishful thinking but something that would make life easier.
7a- Autopilot speed drop: It would be nice that, while autopilot is enabled, you dont come out of warp and slow to a stop (its really bad when a small lag spurt puts your 180m/s BS at 54m/s until your autopilot kicks in where your spending the next minute just catching up to your max speed).
7b- Autopilot waypoint: Also, being able to set autopilot back to the system your in would be handy. When running 2-3 agent's missions, its nice to set my entire rout and then back to home but while setting up my rout in my home system I get the nasty "cant set waypoint to the system you are already in" message (even tho its the 4th waypoint out)
8- Folders: Folders for items in your personal hanger, folders for sell/buy orders (if you've ever tried to sell 30 items in 3 diffrent regions you know why), folders for sorting standings, etc.
9- Unique Corp Images: Of course griefers who would put p0rn (why is the actual word sensored? thats just dumb...) or adult material in their corp picture would be imedatly abused however, strict rules such as a warning for first offence, 1 week account suspention without refund on second, perminant ban on third or the like would keep most in line. I would really like to create and use my own corp icon over the basic and boring one we currently have.
10- Ship body shops: Customizable colors for the ships. There may be a big problem with lag on this request but an option to 'use default ship skins' would prevent long load times no? It'd be great to see the a green bestower floating along in space ;)

1) A real "scout" drone which stay in position even when you warp away, and reports who is in its proximity. 2) Special Drones which scour roid belts for the avg size and types of roid in the system. 3)A transport ship wich has a jump drive and can hold other ships

1. Reload of weapons through quick-buttons 2. Long-Range Scout Drones (like the idea, saw it above a few times) 3. Turret based Anti-Missile-System that really works (autotargeting and firing on any missile approching any gangmember) 4. bring Spawn-Points back in game 5. bring Rat-Chaining back please 6. Uncharted Stations/Jumpgates/Wormholes (really hated it when those conquerable stations just showed on the map) 7. Paying Concord to get a hunting-license for a char in sec space (your target will be eve-mailed that u just bought a hunting-license on him) should give the bounty-hunting profession a boost. 8. Black Market/Smuggling

Few things i have read and thought were worthly of mentioning;
1. Ability to 'split' drone bay, ie, mining and combat tabs in drone bay that allows for easier selection and deployment and also for them to be scooped back to designated area. (not specifically mining and combat 'only' tabs but this was example!)
2. More NPC interaction, and increased NPC activity in systems not just mindless convoys but possibly mining activity!
3. Extention with 2, The ability to hire NPC's to do some of the more boring tasks, like retrieving items from far away stations or even ships, these tasks were ment to be done by nobs using the couriour missions but this hasn't been as successfull as hoped! These characters could even be thought of as corp members (but salary based!) and could be increased in skill level with investment (but only so far and perhaps only in specific areas, say industrial piloting skill!).
4. The ability to sell your items located in stations you aren't in! I have alot of items in stations i'm never going to again and it's annoying to think the only way to de-clutter my asset window is to scrap the items!
5. The auto docking idea (mentioned earlier) at the end of long auto piloted journeys!
6. Ability to find agents better, I don't wish to have to stumble on any research agents (as i have had to do to find one!) as the current way is to have to find the info in every NPC corp info and then work out which is nearest! Perhaps a list of all agents reguardless of corp, sectioned into types (Admin, manufacture etc...) like in the corp info but for current system or constelation!
7. Wider range of cruisers and battleships, frigs aren't big enough to use in any effective capacity to mine or hunt with and the slim choice of cruisers make for limited range of customisation!
8. The ability to tow!!!! Ships, cargo pods etc... when found adrift or if just mined should be able to be towed into a station. (With the use of a special mod and the skills too!!!) this also goes with the lack of being able to hire people to retrieve ships and items in far to reach systems. Perhaps your NPC corp member (3!) could be transported from your ship into the abandoned ship and take it home!!!??
These are some of the things i'd like implemeted, some are taken from other threads but I like them all!!!!

hm, to lazy to read that all...
well, only one for now: Intelligent pirate-NPCS, that break off their attack sometimes when you have decimated a spawn considerably and warp away...and maybe the same ships come back later, with reinforces!

1. larger cargo hold in secure cans(15000m3+ for giant cans) 2. ability to "warp to" ships in visual range 3. corp logos for ships 4. beef up the npc pirate hiden bases in low security systems(0.1-0.2) to cruisers+ instead of the 2k bounty npc's that i find everywhere 5. make unassembled items take up less space

Edited by: Synapse Archae on 17/03/2004 02:44:11 Just one. A long time ago we were told we would see NPC miners out in the belts working for their corps. I rejoiced because it would add a lot to the living aspect of the game to see NPCs doing what the rest of us do.
Then it never materialized. Please bring back npc miners.
...nevermind, I have 2 things, the second is that NPC hideouts/non-belt spawns be made accordingly harder. You go into the belts of one system and you find cruisers galore, then you go to a supposed local pirate "Stronghold" and all they have to defend it are piddling 1 shot newbie frigates? IMHO they should be insanely hard to assault, even in high sec systems, some should hold battleships.

I'm a bit worried about the upcoming level 4 agents only being available to corps and groups of players. While I certainly agree there should be tougher missions with higher rewards for groups, there should be an option for freelancers to continue up the agent ladder past level 3 as well. This is VERY important, especially if level 4 agents are to hand out items that aren't available through other means, for example.
One suggestion I have seen is to have the agents ask what kind of mission you want from L4 agents, solo or corp version. Where corp missions have similar, but significantly larger rewards and tougher goals obviously. While the solo version still allows freelancers to stay in the game, but gaining much smaller benefits (or possibly almost similar per capita).

Actually Cuisinart, destroyers are bigger than frigates.
It would be nice to see external ship customisation but would cause quite a bit of lag.
New agent missions, variety is the spice of life. How about convoy protection duties, then have them randomly attacked by various ship classes. Would make things more interesting.
Can't think of anything witty to put here. |

1. The ability to give permission to others(my other account) to access my hanger and take things. Great for when I'm out in the middle of nowhere and I need to do something in empire space real fast with my second account and not have to travel all the way back.(yes its that much of a pain)
2. Personal hanger folders! 400+ items in one hanger is hard to sift through.
3. The ability for someone to declare war on me personaly and not my whole "corp". We're freelancers, if i go out and mine ark in curse and **** them off alot, my whole "corp" would be at risk. Maybe create factions that would have certain benifits of a corp but not the full statues.(being in a n00b corp makes you a war dodger or automaticly a spy)

1. Escort command for gangs. So you can auto follow say; an industrial ship at a certain distance and warp/jump where ever it goes.
2. Different ship skins. As too many would create lag, how about this? Each ship has 3 skins: Normal, Pirate and Concord. If your character gets a low enough security status they have the Option to use the pirate skin (say black with a skull and crossbones decale). If the player has a high enough standing they can use the Concord skin(or something similarly "good"). Otherwise they use the current skin.
3. Black market/ some way of selling the "named items" which are otherwise just littering escrow.
4. dungeons and or random encounters a little more interesting than Rats in asteroid belts. Maybe systems designed specifically for corp wars? (don't know how that would work but just poped up, maybe old battle fields with shipwrecks like dead titans and half destroyed stations etc. floating around)

Edited by: Nossirah on 21/03/2004 20:14:37 I would like to see some non-combat ships. Such as larger ships dedicated to mining. I would also like to see sections that have restricted jumping, such as gates that can only be used by frigates and indies, so that major corps cant move in with bs's and strip mine all the secure space. I would also like to see faster roid regeneration in these spaces. Also I would like to have the ability to join pirate factions, then buy there ships and use stations that they own.

I would like to see something like skill decay, meaning that a skill that isn't used for some time is penalized with a specific amount of skillpoint but retraining it could be faster because of the experience. Take for example mining, while you're later in game like after 4 weeks and you become a total fighter, but you began as a miner, the mining skills could downgrade to level 2 or 1.

1) I think that all ships need to have a purpose. Should a frigate be able to solo a battleship? No. But a group of frigates using the correct strategy and tactics might (group being 6 or so). But more importantly, every ship needs to have a purpose in the grand scheme. I *DON'T* want an all battleship game. Everyone will eventually own a battleship and it will be no fun. There should be tons of incentive for staying in lesser-classed vessels.
2) Slower combat. These are massive ships of war and I would think that they would be able to take damage just as well as dealing it. In most cases, it ends up being a very quick battle. Slow things down a bit so combat is more epic... especially in larger battles.
3) More grand-scale events. I wouldn't mind seeing a war or something. Just something that gives us tragedy in the middle of the rat race.
4) I would love to be able to visit planets to mine resources. (long shot, i know... but hey).
5) Celestial bodies that impact things more... for example, entering system XYZ causes shields to go offline until you leave again. Maybe even some sort of badlands or something. <shrug>
Anyway, just a few thoughts

How about making frigates more usefull against BS class vessels like they should be rather than "BANG,f***, im dead" make them more dificult to hit or some thing with those huge BS scale guns. or reduce the rate they lock you at, ive jumped before into the waiting guns of a BS and been minced before i could turn around. The main trouble seems to be all the advantages are to having big ships. That sux for everyone else and give newbs a feeling of inadequacy that might make them think twice about signing up. Give the frigates a chance!

Just coming to Eve from EnB I see many things here I always wanted to see in that game. Conversely I see many that were there which aren't here. Just a couple I think would be fun..
1. Customizable ship skins... even if you could only change the base colors, anything to individualize ships.
2. With several chat channels open, I'd like to be able to merge the channels, so that I wouldn't have to change tabs so often, perhaps like the following..
corp:Velatrux:So where's that new ore field? gang:BlooBlood:Okay stay low, i'll check it out local:Minerbouy:AAARRGGG! RATS!!!!
just a couple I'd like, not sure about anyone else.. 8)

I know this probably won't get put in game, but how about some sort of docking on other peoples ships? When they're docked it puts both their masses together with the thrust they use, so they'd go slower.. It would take a while to get all the docking points right on the ships, but I would really like this feature.. maybe even towing? Anyway, just a suggestion. =)

As a freelancer 1.Option for assets to be listed by item as well as system
2.Frigates with more mid and low slots
3.a freelancer license That enables us to store things for people to pick up with permission.
4.A freelancer chat channel
5. A universal on board ship market relay that display the top 8 supply/demand stations for whatever trade good or Ore that is searched ( this interface would only work as a search command)
6.Corps should be able to put in demand and supply orders with Freelancers being able to acces a comprehenisve list of these from anywhere. This would make corps work with Freelancers and vice versa. 7.Temporay Status- this would allow a corp to commission freelancers when they lack the manpower or would like some outside help on a corp project. Perhaps the freelance offering his service for a day or an hour or even a week. The free;ancer would automatically be released from corp after duration expired.
8.more comprehensive sig reduction equipment and skills
9. spacelock conatiners so they can only be opened from inside the ships.
10.Concord should set no fly zones for certain level ships in .9 and 1.0 space. cConcord would advise those ships to leave the area
