Yeah Stain was a bit unorganized after some of the folks left game and yes we were pwned at times..BUT we are recovering and we were recovering before these new developments.
Stain had/has the will, maybe lacks the numbers and maybe a bit of courage but when the ones that CARE gather be sure CA hurts.
Who wins all this M0o vs CA, EVOL vs CA fight?? FUN will! and ..SA in a small percentage

1.) Having Fought M0o, and having fought CA, CA in general require equal to or more ships than any SA fleet to be assured victory *edit* this is not to say individual commanders will not pull ships back before contact with the enemy, or that a blob war will occur. As to the Events at C9N: 4 to one or more? Pretty crappy odds.*edit* The Bovine Locusts on the other hand can battle those same members of SA but with half as many ships and be assured victory. Thus, by the 4GQ betting odds its 2-1 in favor of M0o. Now through in the effectiveness of Evolution's Gurilla campaigns and fleet quality and you've reduced CA's fighting prowess again. So I'd put CA at 3-1 in M0o/Evols favor. Now some SA corps may or may not assist m0o, and those who are thinking about it are premier in SA. So then you have 4-1 odds agains CA.
2.) *Edit* Nope, nevermind, SWI will either be sitting back or following Tyrell's lead. So, now I'm really happy, no comflict of interest anywhere anymore.

Im (arguably) one of the leading PvPers (note not the best by any means) in the CA. All I can say is THANK YOU M0o!
We have so many **** bloated assfecks in the CA at the moment, what we DESPERATELY need is a cull.
What I hope to see is:
first few days: Enormous CA losses as the noobs are de-BSed
after 1 week: The corps that suck leave the CA or hibernate like fuzzy carebears that they are
after that: Big m0o/evol losses as they can only fight the 'original' CA PvP elite.
3 weeks in: m0o/evol temporarily retreat to replace lost stuff.
And repeat to infinity.
After a year or so, Korean players will arrive in the game and within 15mins of the first one activating their account, they will have carved out an empire over 1/3 of space.
after a few weeks more, m0o and evol will join CA, crush the remaining alliances leaving CA (renamed WESTERN ALLIANCE) vs Korea/EASTERN ALLIANCE for contorl of the game.
Obviously, eventually the Eastern hordes will overrun us and the server will hit 50k on sundays (45k of wich are 8 korean guys and their alt accounts Powergaming)

I have my suspicians that (since I am policaly versed) eventually CA will become carebeared in the aftermath of the war and not even care about fighting SA. Then the Korean players will join and SA will have no choice but (forgive the heresy my friends, I speak slightly inebriated) join CA and crush the Korean player's allaince do to a language barrier. That or the aftermath of m0o it will be CA crushed, m0o bored; m0o attacking SA, m0o bored; m0o attacking Xetic while SA and CA go back to the usual order of business. So, I dont think much will change.

I see a lot of references to a coming korean "invasion" and, tbh I don't know if it is all sarcasam or if their is any thruth to it. Are they really releasing eve in korea soon, and, not having played a game with hoardes of koreans, what is the big deal about them joining eve?
If all of your post was sarcasam, gg you got me, I really am just curious on the topic.

I can't speak to any pending Asian release, but having played MMOs that contained significant numbers of the Korean gaming community, I can say that they're gonna make Zombies, Inc. look like girl scouts. Korean gamers have a (deservered) reputation for being ruthless and extreme exploiters.
Note to the GMs: ban early, ban often.

Lallante- lmfaoroflpmp- Yes Koreans are hardcore - I remember them from my Diablo2 days. As for the upcoming battles in CA I look forward to it. I hope those pirates evol come too. I learned a long time ago in a lil system called Aring just what evol is like. SO let the good times roll

Those words were spoken by Joseph Stalin and he surely handed the world a prime example of quantity beating quality.
IF CA has as deep resources as have been claimed and IF they are willing to ride those resources to the bitter end it would be foolish of m0o or anyone to count them out regardless of perceived differences in quality.
Assuming CA has montrous reserves and assuming they will liberally tap into those reserves then I think CA has a better than even chance of fighting off m0o. If CA does not have the reserves some claim they do or if they refuse to use a significant amount of them in a war then m0o will likely own the day.
Just my 0.02 ISK Be interesting to see how it unfolds.

OVERCOPES 1 Shootings over games are not just confined to the Far East anyone remember the shootings outside a webcafe between 2 CS clans in LA.
But back on topic ppl should not underestimate the collective wealth of m0o members combined with the corp.

Interesting...a few weeks ago I wrote a post on these forums talking about the overall wealth of pirate corps. Every single pirate who responded claimed they were really rather poor and it is the carebear miners who have all the money. I didn't believe them then...I will be interested to see if any respond by claiming they are actually quite wealthy as well. Fact is if they are as poor as they claimed in the other thread CA will cream them. Even if m0o gets a better ratio of ship kills m0o will simply run out of steam long before they can undermine CA.
My guess is m0o has deeper pockets than they like to let on.

Zloba: never in my long history of playing online games have I heard so much trash talk (granted mostly in local chat)from someone who gets his butt kicked as much as you. As with any war, it depends on how you define the win. It could go on for ages. It could never even start. Only people that win either way are the ship and ammo dealers out there.
I expect the marketing campaing managers already have several plans of attack to win some extra sales, from either side/both if they can

Best outcome in my personal opinion: CA and m0o (suprise, suprise) pod the **** out of Evolution. Molle declares that outcome as yet another successful campaign whatsoever because everyone is insured and Flatliner can add more merit to his bio.

Yes, you can download EVE from any part of the world. So long as you have a credit card, VISA or Amex, you can log into EVE. That includes Korea. In Asia, it's easy to download a game like EVE, make stacks of copies of it in CD-RW and sell the disks at just above the cost of the CD-RW itself. It's piracy when it applies to other single player games, but for an MMO, its not piracy since you still have to apply a subscription online to play it. Subcription gaming is the best counter to piracy in Asia, and the copiers actually even help distribute the product.
I've battled Koreans before online, and they are extreme, determined players. I find the most smack talking think-he-is-l33t-griefer player or corp in this EVE game to be small potatoes compared to Korea Online. They will do anything in their power and beyond to beat you, and they could not care less whether you're noob or vet, and willing to employ means even if it hurts the game. The concept called "welfare of the overall game" does not exist for many of them.
The one thing more popular than CS in Korea is SC (Starcraft) but that has been changing to MMORPGs/MMORTSs as Korea now has the largest per capita of broadband in the world.
I think EVE is safe from Korean kill-clans for now, in my opinion, the game is simply not yet in their target horizons, as compared to anime style RPGs.
But perhaps if we change our avatars to nice kawaii dole eyed cuties, and include mecha in the game...
