Riethe	Posted - 2007.11.17 23:10:00 - [31] Just one more thing for now: Because of the rules of this forum, it might be beneficial to the expansion offering to keep purchase "announcements" at minimum. While I don't personally mind (most purchases act as dual purpose and provide free bumps to the thread), it would seem that the folks who moderate our forums could have problems with it. I would hate for this thread to come off as a "sell order" and end up getting locked. I'd just like to stay on the safe side, and hopefully promote this thread as discussion or for the sake of awareness. If this thread had to be re-posted in the sell order area, chances are the exposure it would get would be significantly less. Please limit your reservations to evemails, unless you have any problems regarding a purchase or shares being transferred or anything of that sort. Thanks everyone, let's keep the moderators happy. Now, can we please get a firm number for precisely how many shares are left? Not a "maybe this is reserved" "there are lots left etc" but a direct number that are available right now? I have been fielding concerns towards your operations all day most notably in respect to your wanting to keep investors private and saying there are lots of shares left without actually saying how many. Not trying to go off at you in any way Riethe as I do feel you have the best intentions, but I think the way you are trying to promote this is shooting yourself in the foot.

Also, it's a Saturday and I've noticed he's been on and off, tranferring shares and maybe chatting people up for a few moments before having to head off again to go about his personal business. Basically, I feel that a person's decision to invest shouldn't be persuaded by "availability." If that person is considering investing in my venture to begin with, then I would at least hope that they would expect me to be honest and return their investment if the shares have sold out. If I were to announce there were X numbers of shares left, a individual, or a few individuals, would see that as an opportunity to squat on the shares until they can free up the money to finalize the investment. This happened with my original offering, and I ended up having to cancel out a reservation and offer the shares to another individual who had been patiently waiting. I was hoping to avoid this situation altogether, however it seems that in the eye of investors, it does not come off as standard or professional, although I was never formally informed that offerings had to be so linear in their design. Having said all that: There are 2833 shares left for purchase. It's entirely understandable that you would have concern about this, when looking at it from that perspective it does seem sketch. I fully understand, I think it's absolutely necessary that these kinds of considerations are made and brought up. It is both mine and your (the investor's) responsibility to have discussions regarding any aspect of the venture that seem ambiguous or in any way confusing. You're selliong 10k shares - of which you said roughly half were pre-booked. The thread has furtehr bookings for around 7.5k shares, yet there's still nearly 3k left. To add up that means of the 12.5k(ish) shares booked/sold (in this thread + pre this this thread) nearly half weren't actually purchased. Very wierd.

You're jumping to conclusions, making assumptions and reading things I didn't write. I never said CEO's should 'out' people who contacted them privately. Instead I think it is quite clear that most of the investors we see here do not care one little bit about the privacy of their investment. If they did they wouldn't post on the forums to reserve shares. So my point was that any IPO that stated form the beginning it would be revealing shareholder names would not have any problems getting investors.
