Actually there is more truth to this than you think, and it's not necessarily a bad thing.
Gallente seems to have two niche's really:
1) Versatile droneships (Domi, Ishtar, Myrm, Vex)
2) Do-or-die blasterboats (Hyperion, Mega, Brutix, Thorax)
Just because many pilots favour the GTFO approach of Minmatar does not make the Do-or-die approach of the Gallente blaster boats a bad one, it's just different (and somewhat harder to pull off).
If all the ships of all races would be designed with the same concepts in mind things would be rather bland don't you think? |

Give +50% to DMG to Blasters and Rails and Im fine with do-or-die
But we need feedback from CCP side this is the main reason why I've wrote this thread. And trolls are doing sh.. not helping anyone just e-peening |

Shield gank? Genuinely interested, I'd love to fly it. Just can't enough dps out of it, nor speed, especially compared to Talos.
I'd probably like to try it active armor with links and Exile, numbers look hilarious, but sadly I can has no links atm. |

I'd say that blasters as a weapon system are, by and large, pretty fine now. There are a few individual ships which, imo, could probably still use sort of tweaking (like the Brutix and Hype) but all races have their ugly ducklings.
Now nerf Cynabals/Machariels/ECM and EVE might actually be balanced! \o/ |

the majority of Gallente ships are totally fine now.
Frigates are pretty much all on pair or better then the racial counterparts, the eris is the dictor with the highest survivability (dual prop, armor buffer) and both hacs are very good.
then ofcourse you got the lesser good ships like the brutix, hyperion and catalyst but every race has those. |
