We have reached the final episode of the first EVE TV season. They brought joy into our lives with their weekly broadcasts, from daily happenings in EVE and of course Tournaments to the EVE Fanfest 2007. Our dedicated EVE TV crew deserves a big thank you from us all, as they prepare for the EVE TV - Season One finale!

Congratulations on a Fantastic first season. Teething troubles were inevitable for the new venture, and what's great is that you succeed in creating a great product.
Many thanks to the EvE-TV team for their efforts, and I look forward to
A) Buying the EON edition with all the season 1 episodes and
B) Seeing EvE-TV Season II
While on a holiday, remember .. Absence makes the heart grow fonder ;)

Which is a real real shame as it was a great show, wobbly in places but pretty much spot on.
Sadly it got ripped into by the forum noobs from the get go and thus the community ensured its ultimate demise.

Even though I don't really mind it - I guess i should once again mention that I've never seen any of the comercials you're bragging about (firefox, disabled adblocker on the eve-tv site)

Eve TV the only TV show I actually look forward to each week. It really should be broadcasting for the Trinity expansion because that would have been awesome. :(
I for one couldn't give two hoots about adverts because the pay off was something astonishingly valuable to the community.

plain and simple said, does it mean: 'eve tv isn't feasible at the current revenue stream?' or does it mean 'we do fine, will be back, we just want to become rich?'
I don't mind you becoming rich and I hope it's the second of my guesses. please don't say it's the first, you do a great job.

I hope this really is only a temporary break. I liked EvE TV a lot and found it very well done.
It's something unique with MMOs afaik.

I have an idea/request for the DVD if it's not too late. Put together a chapter/clip of all the times StevieSG sang. Kinda like a medley. Granted every outro of Eve TV (on their free episodes at least) is a medley anyway. But, you get what I mean...
Dang, 2-3 months without StevieSG angelic singing. How will we cope!?

I want to watch it sometimes maybe but FFS you dont even have link on your main page to it! Why do i have to look for the link or info? Youre loosing ppl such way from EVE TV. No promotion of such out-game feature, nothing! Only some news from time to time about it. Did you really expected to have many ppl watching it without big promotion? I dont know any player whos watching it - most of them dont even know what youre playing there, what you can find there. Ask yourself question - WHY. In such case whole EVE TV looks like special stuff for some fanatic members, watched only by those who are fascinated with EVE.
Best wishes to the team. Youve already done something uniqe. Keep it up.

I enjoyed pretty much all the episodes, I paid for the jalipo credits and watched it on the highest quality stream for the princely sum of ú1 a week. Maybe CCP should get a streaming server and charge people isk or sthg? Anywho come back soon.

I just thought I'd give you peeps my perspective.
When I first noticed eve tv even existed it looked like a great idea. But there was nothing mentioned in the literature about how much it was going to cost to watch and, more importantly, it didn't mention that there was going to be a cost period.
The second thing that comes to mind is that there was no mention as to where and how to tune in exactly. I do recall seeing times which is great.
That sounds dumb i'll bet, but its the major reason that I never did tune in. Perhaps other people had similar issues?
It's great that advertising is able to defray the cost although really, I dont mind paying a nominal one time fee per year for example if its reasonable. Its understandable that good things cost isk :-)
Having said all that, I'll be making a concerted effort to tune in on the 24th. :-)

Huge pat on the back to the core EVE TV team (spiralJunkie, Xyliana et al). You all did a wonderful job. You guys are getting better and better and I look forward to more EVE after February.
The Tourny was amazing, and a brilliant way to show off the EVE experience to friends - some of whom subsequently joined EVE

I don't follow what the problem is? Is it lack of viewers? I thought that especially after the adoption of the news clones and moving to free-to-watch, Eve TV had become a great addition to the game. Sad to see you go off, I hope you do return in the new year.

CCP please dont have EVE TV on such a long break. At first when you introduced Jalipo credits to run eve tv not many people including myself were not interested in the show but when it was introduced as being free i thought i'd give it a try. I love watching your weekly programs. Its full of alliance/corp discussions, ship set ups, sovreignty updates etc which i find enjoyable. I always look forward to your weekly show and in my opinion it keeps the eve spirit alive. Is there any chance we can keep the weekly show or have maybe have a Xmas special extended episode. You guys have done a top job on the fanfest episode with over 13 hours of footage. Please keep this going CCP! regards, Saul.

I think most would agree Eve TV started on a rocky path, as was usual with the community we wanted free features and I believe that was misjudged when evetv was first released losing alot of potential steam. I myself have been watching it every week since it has become a free show, and I feel it was getting bigger and better with each and every episode. Even though sometimes hte so called "experts" were clueless  .
I hope to see Eve TV back for a season 2, where I can continue to annoy my corp with spammed links of the show .
Congratulations for doing something different then all other MMO's and for everyone who's been following Eve TV, we'll miss it dearly if it doesn't return for a season 2.

I will definately miss the show - pleased to see its return in feb' (if that is the case as the farewell on episode 21 seemed a little like a permanent goodbye to me sadly)

I didn't exactly watch regularly, but I did enjoy it and thought it was net positive for EVE as a whole. Push through the teething, build yourself into an institution, and don't stop the rock. (Other games/gaming news too if you need the revenue/scale? You guys are a separate entity, non?)

I've been catching the show since the viewing model changed. I've very much liked what I've seen, I hope Eve-TV comes back stronger than ever in season 2.
My only complaint is that advert for Queen, which blasts at 10 times the volume of the show, rattles my teeth, causes my neighbors to riot, and breaks china three counties away. Please, please moderate adverts so they don't blast sound.

Mabe my loss but other than 2 or 3 streams of the alliance tournament i never watched it. I am against paying for any 3th party service..
I liked the idea very much but assoon people are trying to make money out of it.
if it was something like cribba does.. people willing to support your effort by donating money then its totaly different. people would have watched and probably enjoyed the show and then willing to support you guys keeping it running..
