Mostly everything is much better accept the recently added ships like tier 2 BC and tier 3 BS they look meh the same. 
The only real problem I have is with the new Hulk and Mackinav models and strips. The coloring isn't good, they are to square, their strips have nice lightings, but they sorta sink into the ship, and the bow of those ships are horrible like before. 
The strips go in rapid burst like a pulse laser it would make more since if we saw ore after every burst.To fix the ugliness of the mackinav and hulk would be to give them the hawt bow of the skiff/procurer.

I really, really, REALLY HATE the new Abso (I've dubbed it the "Fire Engine Abso").
Sleipnir looks utter ****e. Shame since the Claymore is pretty nice.
Vaga... lol, WTF CCP?
Tier 2 BC/Tier 3 BS fail. Especially Myrm, who looks WORSE than the one on TQ currently.

Matari lose hard with this new patch. The Typhoon, Mastodon, The Flying Toilet Sea... errr, I mean Muninn, Vaga, Tempest all suck now. Crappy low res textures, blocky shapes where there used to be curves( example: Mastodon's nose) predominate. They all look like they were designed by 5-year olds, and show a very poor effort on CCP's part when it comes to minnies. Their shuttle, I must admit though, is exceptional.
Some of the Caldari ships look like they were given the short end of the stick, too. The Raven's smudge... err, I mean texture looks it had been a detailed skin before they gave it an acid bath. Ditto Scorpion. Caracal barely shows any change.
Amarr WIN on most, while Gallente WIN on some and FAIL on others.
All in all, I think there's been an uneven effort expended on designing and skinning the new models. Some models barely show any change, some changed for the worse and some are quite outstanding. Maybe, it all has to do with the difference in levels of expertise among the graphical artists of CCP.
