Official statement from the ISS CEO.
Recently, some trouble was stirred and **** was piling up around ISS. Many of you probably remember ISS acting as a neutral entity and creating something new in MMO's - looking from COAD perspective it's prehistoric age to most of the current EVE-Online player base. The situation and goals of the alliance today are very different... today we pretty much just want to shoot stuff :-)
In the south ISS have been at war constantly for almost a year starting with hostilities between ISS and IAC. For that reason ISS was slowly but surely pushed towards GBC, and ISS has contributed in many battles since then with GBC.
However, watching the GBC crumble under the onslaught of a better organized foe has been increasingly painful these past months. The last straw was when ISS docking rights to BOB stations was removed without discussion, warning or indeed for us without an ounce of coherent reasoning. Eve is a game of trust, and we find ours shattered as a result of SirMolle's actions.
Therefore, ISS will no longer fight on either side. From today, we turn a page in our history. ISS has reset standings to all entities in Eve, and we will continue to operate a NBSI policy.

i approve of this product and/or service

it was a wise move to 'suck up' to get station access back after the reset you, only to twist the knife once you had your assets out: this shows a modicum of cunning and thus something completely unexpected from you/iss
and yeah we're not welcoming iss with open arms we pretty much want them to cease to exist and stop posting forever but gotta say they get mad props and much respeckt for dis

no one is kissing ISS's ass. they're awful and will always be awful and resetting standings only makes them slightly less terrible

Interesting move. I agree only a small % of the current population have a memory (or care) for the first half of ISS's life. Enjoy freedom from the chains of preconceived expectation.
