June 11th
Ok I took a 2 month vacation so subtract 2 months it would like starting august 11th. I now have 5 million skillpoints and still no BS.
When did you get your BS and how many skillpoints did you have when you got it?

Never had a battleship, have no wish ever to get one :).

I got one a few weeks after I joined Dark Seraph, not sure when that was

started on july 16th
got my BS 29th feb this year for me an 5.5mil skill points:)

Half the Reikoku corp want to stay in frigates.
I personally would never have moved from my blackbird but the corp said they would vote me off as CEO and boot me out if I didn't get one.

I have been playing since August, 03, sometime, and I just got my bs in Feb. I had around 5.2 skill points I think.

You probably find that there are a fair few pppl who started on early on but never had any intention of flying a battleship... true manufacturers, if u like.

I got into my scorpion 3rd week playing, still havent lost a Battleship... and 4th week playing i went to Great Wildlands NPC hunting, then went to curse, killed my first battleship 5th week playing...

Started in June and got my first BS about a week ago simply out of curiosity. Tbh I still prefer cruisers.

Good to see some people not obsessed with the 'my ship (or d.i.c.k.) is bigger than yours' syndrome.
The biggest problem with EVE, imo, is that the Battleship is far too powerful, and far too easy to obtain. They should cost at minimum 500million each, and only those with excellent standing with the respective empires should be able to own/fly them.
Also, frigates and cruisers need to be made more effective against them.

Started in May but just returned from a 3 month break. 4mill skillpoints and no BS. I am planning on obtaining one during the next few weeks though

I got my first bs (scorpion) at about 1.3mil skill points after playing for about 6-7 weeks. It was truely a glorified cruiser with medium weapons and heavy missiles. =) Think my first combat kill in it was avirex II. Not long after I got it I took it to venal to fight in that war and it got hits of 4.5-12 on tank-ceo when we killed him last night of the war. God I loved that ship lots of good memory's, shame it is no more. =(

I think Qual doesnt even have the skills to fly a battleship. Hes been around since release and has around 13-14 million skillpoints. (as his main and only character)

took me 1.4 mill skill points before i got mine... was quite fast. But I trained up pretty much since the begining for everything id need for the bs.

I have 8 million skill points and have never had a great desire to own one. Joined the game about 2 days after retail or so.
I started borrowing a Dominix part time from corp mate at around 4-5mil skillpoints, but gave it back to him after a while. Later on around December a guy in my corp who had a megathron gave me that because he left the game. Had that for a while before I lost it (fully insured) to some nasty NPCs.
Haven't been interested in getting one since. I like my cruisers and frigate better.

I got me a Scorpion some month ago or so, i think. Have yet to take her out of the hangar for her first flight, though.
... partially because the idea of a battleship sitting idle like that drives Maud crazy. :s

Been in since 6/6/03, lost a couple of weeks due to a holiday.
Don't have a BS - didn't want one for a long time - but now I'm finally getting around to building one for myself. So I'm without a BS, but only for a few more weeks.

I been playing the game since the first day of release, every day most of the day except when i been on vacvation or away on bussiness... and i am no were near getting in to a BS, hell i just got in to a cruiser. Its not the type of char i am playing.
