Why in the hell are so many people in this damn game worried about what gender Jade is? I mean ****, you aren't going to score either way. Many of you play badass combat pilots but a lot of you spent most of your teenage years trying to get out of your locker or pulling somebody's boot out of your ass. Yet people let you roleplay that you are tough, smart and worth while.
Look at the avatars not one fat one in the lot. Yet from the tech talk on these forums I know a lot of you have to be really fat computer dorks who's only experience with friction is their daily dozen doughnuts sliding down their pie hole.
In conclusion jades gender is her biz and only her biz so STFU.

There's 3 possible answers.
1. They're lame
2. They're very lame.
3. They're so far beyond lame that they couldn't even see it if they looked over their shoulder and used a radio telescope 
I personally think they'd like Jade to be a man in RL because they wouldn't feel so bad about getting their butts kicked in the forums every day by another bloke rather than a girl.

lol, I will confess that I go running every night and workout thrice a week to make sure I don't get fat ;)
(its one of my pet terrors ;)
but I do wonder if its all down to restrained ambiguous sexuality issues, little chaps wondering if they are too excited by potentially bi-sexual urges. I certainly felt like some guys in the PA were trying to "pull" me on occassion ...
People do need to get real, it's a roleplaying game (yes, even if you don't roleplay) ... we none of us have starships and i'd say the majority have no combat experience of any kind.

LOL I was nearly in tears, must be my immature sense of humour.
Back to the point though, who really cares? I enjoy the posts that Jade does as they are extremely eloquent and compared to the usual flaming that goes on are a breath of fresh air. He/she is an intelligent person who enjoys the game for his/her own ability to roleplay. I agree fully with Jade on her point that its a game, a lot of people who play it are computer geeks (no offense meant here as i know some great computer wizkids) and only a small minority are in the armed forces and will ever understand the meaning of true combat. The only combat i know is my boxing and the occaisonal street fight that occurs (so i live in a crap area, sue me) and this game and others i play stop me from taking to the streets full time and ending up in prison.

Well I never really cared much what gender Jade's puppetmaster is but now I definitly think you are a girl
Well seriously I think you nailed it with the overweight computer dork (I'm a underweight computer dork btw). A lot of those people have never seen a woman in real life so the thought of sweeping off with the girl of their dreams in an online computer game sounds rather tempting.
What I really want to know is whether Miso is a Glaswegian lorry driver or not

Does it really matter about gender? Personally I find Jade very stimulating as both a conversationalist and in personality. Gender shouldnt need to cross those boundaries, so its really not anyones place to issue judgement or commentary - unless you are in need of reassurance when it comes to your own sexual identity.

Yeah - I'm actually the 18 stone Glaswegian truck driver that they always talk about - AND - i'm REALLY female - I just have kind of a deep voice - I wanted to be a female bodybuilder - all the male hormones and steroids really messed me up....

Yes, I have the feeling that there aren't many girls with alot of combat experience.
So according to me the chances that you would beat me or any of my corpmates in a 1on1 ( including the chicks) would be slimmer then if you were a guy.
But I agree with your point that other things then gender decide on skill.
I ask you to deny that girls play these kind of games as much as guys do, and that of those girls you kind find the same amount of powergamers ( in percentage.
I really believe that women are more social then men, and thus have a larger social life and less time for games.
( there are exceptions I know)
