In fact, I think all the Caldari/Amarr/Minmatar ships have come out of the changes wonderfully. However I reckon many of the Gallente ships have been whacked pretty hard with the ugly stick. I used to laugh at Minmatar for flying scrapheaps held together by duct tape and chewing gum. I think from now on I'll be mocking the Gallente for a) the awful colour schemes, b) the fact that they don't look like they've been repainted in 100 years.

They used to look like dull grey boxes in space that spewed missiles from their soulless frame... Well, if you honestly sit for a moment and look over each races ship ingame... even with bleh graphical settings... I feel caldari got a lot of nice variety in their new skins. Minmatar look like minmatar... not much to really say, they look like they shuld, brown, metallic worn look in places, exposed panels here and there. Thrasher's "forehead" is an example of that. Boundless creation are just red lights and some random camo you can barely see unless undocked and moving. Thukker, weird flat design that looks funky in my eyes, core complexion is ok, but it's just silver/blue version of boundless. Gallente... oh yes the ones everyone loves the new look of :P It's honestly not that badd once you get used to it. shipyard looks ain't bad either. Duvolle has a weird poo yellowgreen though, but it's not too terrible as it grows on you. Redon is a bit dark and flat, but the enyo looks utter badass (btw are the two launchers supposed to look like they have a messed up texture?) Creodron... well they look fine, bit flat like the Roden ones but still, they're acceptable. Eos looks boring now however, and with its nerf... I feel rather sorry for it, even took away its chin thing. Amarr. Amarr shouldn't really have any complaints on their look. They have just the right ammount of gold and reflections, too much and it'd look TOO gawdy and I would honestly think it'd be horrible. No, they have light color panels with gold/chrome mixed in and finally look like they have actual armor plates on them. Khanid look sweet with their black and blue. Carthum look great with their gold and red. and Viziam...um, green zealot... :\| ....... 5 minute silence but ships like the executioner have nice lil details, like if you look closely you can see the internal bits of the ship, s its lacking armor plates possibly? Caldari, ah Caldari, they look pretty friggin sweet now... infact it makes me jealous a bit. I can't memorize or specifically get their shipyards down but they all have a general 3 theme thing. Harpy/Manticore/raptor They have this really nicely done reflection, dark grey with yellow highlights and orange lighting... looks really really nice in space and even docked. blue/camo peoples, Hawk/Buzzard/Eagle examples... the camo is flat yet also shiny enough to look metal, blue lights and hints of chrome on someships... I too like this as I do the yellow/silver guys above. Crow/nighthawk people...they're pretty nice too, gives the highthawk some soul, not just a flat black lifeless box that missiles fly out of.. and the crow, how could you complain about that? :/ if anything they gave an already over popular ship a cool factor to it. Though, why on earth does the nighthawk have a grey/plain bridge? Did they just get to that point in building the ship and just say "ok you know what, just **** it, we're out of black and red paint" End totally pointless and random rant.

This will not be possible There will be 2 client versions a direct X 8 version and a direct X 9 version Both will be using the same skins just one will be more shiny You all FAIL!!!!
