Any particular reason for this ? what with tracking and sensor scripts, these ships are gonna struggle to hit a planet, let alone a ship!!

not a problem for the vargur as it doesnt have the grid to fit arties anyways

Not really an ISK sink as it just moves the ISK around, sure it sinks your wallet but the only true sink is the skillbook.
Just going slightly offtopic.
The Vargur on the otherhand, isnt that best fitted with autos + insane range bonuses + tracking bonus = npc pwnage?

kk.. here's the complete description:
Role: Marauder
Geared toward versatility and prolonged deployment in hostile environments, Marauders represent the cutting edge in todayÆs warship technology. While especially effective at support suppression and wreckage salvaging, they possess comparatively weak sensor strength and may find themselves at increased risk of sensor jamming. Nevertheless, these thick-skinned, hard-hitting monsters are the perfect ships to take on long trips behind enemy lines.
Developer: Boundless Creation
Boundless CreationÆs ships are based on the Brutor TribeÆs philosophy of warfare: simply fit as much firepower onto your ship as possible. Defense systems and electronics arrays therefore take a back seat to sheer annihilative potential.
Minmatar Battleship Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to large projectile turret rate of fire and 10% bonus to large projectile turret falloff per level
Marauder Skill Bonus: 7.5% bonus to shield boost amount and 7.5% bonus to large projectile turret tracking per level
Role Bonus: 100% bonus to large projectile weapon damage, 100% bonus to range and velocity of tractor beams
P/G of 7900
Lets take a look at the 425mm AC ii (just as an example) cpu = 35 / pg = 1375 * 4 = 5400 pg to fit (w/o skills mind) falloff = 16km + 50% = 24km (w/o ammo loaded) tracking = 0.054 + 30% (assuming ppl train the skill to lvl 4) = 0.0702 (again w/o skills)
optimal is where the damage will really count, but at around 3.5km, that ain't gonna be happening so you have to rely on falloff which us specc'd AC pilots will tell you can still be hit & miss!
factor in the amount of ammo you'll need to carry (+ ammo costs), I'm sorry but I fail to see the appeal of this ship! 
Maybe sniping (with 2 guns due to lack of P/G) ?? ROFL  _____________________________________

Panther is Minny Black op (8/5/6 slot - 5 turret points only) Vargur is the Minny Marauder (7/6/5 slot - 4 turret points only)

Have you actually used autocanons before, even small ones?
Autocanons ALWAYS operat in falloff, and with a minmatar BS, you'll be around 20km quite often, and believe me, that hits!
I naver had any trouble to hit things with autocanons in a tempest, and I never used tracking mods on cloerang setups.
Stop paper pvp and actually FLY the ships!

The Vargur is substantially worse than the other Marauders. So what? One of the races has to get the worst one. You get the best borderline-overpowered amazing heavy interdictor while Amarr gets a laughably ****ty one, so it's quite balanced for you to get the worst Marauder while Amarr gets the best one.

I find throwing rocks gets better damage and FYI I've been testing it out on TQ.
ARTY setup on the vargur just sucks AC setup is do-able. Had a few slugfests against another pilot in a tempy, which the tempy won on every occasion! For a decent setup, too many slots are lost to counter the poor scan res + lack of P/G.
So it is u who should stop Paper Playing

minni marauders arent "nerfed" by tracking.. they have other issues.

acctually he's right you won't be able to hit ANYTHING the size of a planet or even it's moon since you can't lock them in eve at the moment *waits for planetary bombardment to be added to the game*

Why the up-roar about lack of split weapon systems? don't people get that split weapon systems is not a good thing?
First the nightmare whines, now this...
I hope the mega gets 4 turrets and 3 unbonused launchers, hell all ships should get some nice unbonused missiles on their ships...
It's great being Amarr isn't it.
Support the introduction of Blaze M crystals for Amarr!
