You are entirely correct. My intention was to create a character that would look entirely benign and use the lighting to create the notion that there is a non-tangible sinister, dark side to it. I am aware of the problem with the eyes. Although I made them open grey, so as to be easily discernible in the dark, I have not yet found a way of exposure to the light that would allow the shadows to work as intended while making the eyes show.
@ Shalua Rui:
Pretty avatar, but I think it could do with another hairstyle and maybe an eyeshadow that matches the eyes' color. Also the chin piercing looks out of place. 7/10 |

At first the off-center pose seems a little off-putting, but on further reflection, it looks like it was the best thing to do given the character's shape and background. 8/10

I don't know. Your Character is hard. It got something interesting as it is not standard but then it has some smooth traits, some harsh ones, which is a kindof weird. I dont like the hair at all nor the color. The character just looks like a nerd on the street, not like a capsuleer from a harsh, unforgiving universe. 5/10 |

Good pose, but the lighting is awful. Like the eyes and freckles but the chin is a bit too soft for the rest of the face. Will say it's 7/10 until you improve the lighting.
BTW, I am rolling Ish again, but CCP broke the hairstyles so currently she's in a place holder mode... the body pose is almost final but likely will change head, face and make up once I can change the hairdo -the only reason i was using it was to conceal her forehead in the old portrait...

Normally I'm not a fan of the tattoo selection, but yours works nicely with your mustache and beard.
Also like the flow of light from the interior blue that helps lead the focus to your face.
