Call me old fashioned, but I don't like people who don't look me into the eyes.
Other than that, the use of light and shadow is remarkable, I especially like the shadowplay on your forearms and how your face seems to be in a bright spot. 8/10

Oooooooooooo, now there's an awesome avatar if I've ever seen one. Lovin the color scheme and, while I'm not normally a fan of face tattoos, it compliments everything else nicely. The jacket really gives it that latiny extra bit of flavor though. Mm, just lovin it.

Original background is original and a tough one to pull, but could work. The pose is Ok'ish, goggles are dubious and the jacket is completely too formal for the portrait. The lighting is borked. Will say 6.5/10 because there's a good potential but needs work done with lighting and outfit. +0.5 because does NOT use a monocle, will be 7/10 final.
