Cash Items = Items or special offer package (eg. double experience gain :P) that can only be purchased with real life currency.
Most Korean games have 'cash items' that are tempting to get and yet not so tempting to get because of the idea of 'paying real money'. I was playing a typical korean game that needs some real life money spending (i don't pay a single penny for it though :P) and I suddenly had a train of thoughts and wondered 'What would EVE become of, if... IF cash items were introduced?'
1. Security Reset - $10
Pay $10 and choose a character of your choice to reset your character's security status from anywhere... to 0.0!
oh this one would be nice for those empire suicide runners.
or pirates who repent for the mischief they've caused :P
2. Skill Training Multiplier - $20
Pay $20 and train your skills TWICE AS FAST! Valid for 1 month.
every boy and girl's wet dream i suppose. BS lvl 5 in 15 days.
3. Jump Clone Timer Reset - $1
Want to jump clone but still have to wait for the time and don't want to suicide because of the implants? Well this is the solution! $1 per use.
Might not be that useful at all, but then you never know.

It's way to support the RL financially strong and leave the weak behind, ... but it generates money for CCP so it is an economically speaking feasible option :)

The 2x training thing would become mandatory to keep up with other players, more than doubling subscription costs.

Don't even make joke suggestions like this! We already have people buying their way ahead in EVE with GTC's! If stupid ideas like that can become reality then stupid stupid STUPID ideas like those could conceivably get spotted by the same braindamaged chimpanzee masquerading as a dev who decided GTC for ISK was a good idea!

Because it's what makes the korean games bad. Besides, GTC are already in the game, no need to give more shiny stuff to people that can't play the game properly so they can hope to compensate for their lack of skills.

Horrible idea. We should all have equal possibilities in EVE, unrelated to our financial state in real life. Sadly, some scumbags are already using their real life money to cheat by buying ISK.

I find cash item games disgusting... however the option to buy double training time made me go like hmmm I'd actually like that... Then again it shows my disgust for the training system I guess...

Yes its wrong, but i find the faster training time option intriguing. Couple of times a year, why not. 
This is very optional, i very much hate games where you HAVE to pay to go further, to get some nice shiny item or such.

Just recieved a spam from isk sellers that also sell items, implants etc for cash...

I suggested option one a long time back - but only to reduce positive standings to sell the charecter.
Ie +6 standings with Caldari, grind up some Minmatar and Gallente then reset it all to Zero.
Rate my charecters please - 2M isk for a good review for the first 3 people!! |

Heh, there are some things they could do like custom paintjobs that I would pay for and I can't see how that gives me any ingame advantage. But they already allow gtc sales so why not allow everything?
- the vast majority of people wouldn't bother
- those who did bother are soon embarassed as they lose their honor-tanked mom while mining veld in a 0.9 belt.
people who buy their way into a game don't last very long, the same personality traits that lets them think they can buy their way, will also prevent them from succeeding at it.
It would be interesting to see what effect it really had. I think all you kneejerk communists might be surprised.
