Belhorn Battlebeard Minmatar Fusion Enterprises Ltd Mostly Harmless	Posted - 2007.12.06 01:32:00 - [1] Hi all, just downloaded and installed the classic update then the premium. Problem is, i cant use my keyboard at all in the game. it just doesn't respond.outside of the game the keyboard works fine, inside it just does not. My system: AMD dual core 4400+ 4gb RAM plenty of harddrive Radeon x1300/1550 pro video card (supports SM3) Dell keyboard and mouse The mouse sort of works, i can click on stuff etc, but if i alt tab and come back to the game my mouse has disappeared. Weird bug? PS. i have restarted the computer etc, made sure firewall has allowed it. ______________________ Sybrite - it's like Turby, but better. All of your ex-members are belong to us!
Captain Alioth	Posted - 2007.12.06 01:35:00 - [2] I'm having the exact same problem. In fact, the only way I could enter the game was by copy/pasting my pw in the load screen. Anybody else having trouble with this?

If I use the mouse to select the username the delete key works! Just typing alphanumeric has no response. The cursor is in the username/password text box but no characters appear. One thing to consider, I have dual display, left monitor fires up Eve in fullscreen. I deleted the cache folder, no difference. I'm out of ideas... ____________________________________________

Then my ISP switched me off 'cause downloading of premium content killed my traffic quota and I forgot to pay this month :) I've tunelled 26000 port to eve's server but... Keyboard stopped to work and I have to log in via cut'n'paste of my account details :) Also splash screen is loading way too slow. Some investigation done shows that EVE tries to connect to api.eve-online.com during splash screen and my guess that since it can't connect over there - somehow keyboard stops to work. It might be not YOUR case guys, but that's when keyboard actually stopped to work for ME :)
