rather be a fanboy then a clueless hater.
Been using vista for a while now and have had ZERO issues
If you are poor or cant use a computer, i would see why you wouldnt like it. But if you have a good rig and know your stuff, you SHOULD NOT have any real problems.
stop being angry that they pushed DX10 with vista only
wouldnt call myself a fanboy, but theres little as fun as a hater calling others fanboys. id love to hear these 100s of 1000s reasons why not to use vista. so far it looks nice and runs smooth. the only small issue was my out of date video drivers

Yes. Cheers for Vista, an operating system that runs better on a Macbook Pro than any other notebook on the market. Hurray.

Im running Vista Ultimate x64 for 8 months now and never had a single glitch on anything. Youre right about notifications that look like a huge stop sign, but most of that you can turn off to enjoy the quietlife without too much micro**** poke poke.
The Vista can still be affected by it like mine was with the full premium install. I had a 1 time only option to choose my OS and never returned.
Gl to the strugglers atm.

OS funboys, that's a new low
A OS is definitely a useful piece of software, but this time microsoft managed to pack a record amount of crap in.
Ok, the pretty interface looks nice, but
Do you really like being told by a pice of software what you can and can't do with your computer?
Do you really like all the DRM crap?
Do you really like that now you need 1gig+ of HDD space for a OS? Yes 99% of it it's bloatware. (I have close to 2tbyte hdd space so it dosn't really matter, but I still don't like it)
If I where at microsoft, I would lol at people supporting me and keep on counting the $$
The fact that the eve bug didn't occur on Vista is a pure concidence. You can be sure a lot more bugs and malware will hit vista.
And yes, I'm running vista now, and no, besides the pretty interface there is nothing I like about it.

Win 2k avoided the problem as well, it seems it's only XP that sucks this time
