I'm wondering what the most profitable L4 missions are that include loot and salvage. Most seem to give around 10mil in bounties and a few more in loot and salvage. The only ones I can think of are AE and maybe GE.

I like Gone Beserk a lot. A lot of Battleships, and very good loot (although maybe they modified the loot tables in the recent patch). Don't try to salvage though, you get almost exclusively metal scraps.

The Assault is a superb mission - 20 million in bounties and lots of BS wrecks to salvage and loot.
Angel Extravaganza is a great mission, if you do the bonus room as well. I once got 53 Tritanium bars off it, and the bounties are considerable.
I am very partial to Gone Berserk, it's a quick 10 million and the loot can be very good (lots of metal scraps in the salvage, so that kind of sucks).
The Blockade is great ISK/hour.
In the Midst of Deadspace, parts 1 and 4 are excellent for salvage. The tags are pretty nice too, but I've never run the numbers on what they are worth since I don't sell them. ------------

It's a 5-part Gallente/Minmatar mission against the Caldari/Amarr Empires. Part 1 and 4 have fairly substantial Amarr fleets, which means lots of Melted Capacitor Consoles. ------------

I dont loot usually (except gone bersek, some merchenary clusters and drone battleships), but most profitable for me are:
1) Worlds collide (~25 mil bounties, ~30 minutes, 8000 lp) 2) gone berzek (~10 mil bounties, ~15 minutes, 6000 lp) 3) Angel/gurista vaganza (~20 mil bounties, ~30 minutes, 8000 lp) 4) Pirate slaugher / The assault (~10..15 mil bounties, ~20 minutes, 8000 lp)
Then again i'm doing them in relatively pimped ride, headful of hardwires and very good skills. We will see how they play out now after the patch when torpedoes are not so shiny anymore for level 4 missions. My speed is propably going to drop approx 5 .. 10 %.

I think most of the missions you mentioned so far are the less profitable ones, if you take profit/time in general.
The most profitable ones are the short ones, for example Slave Traders 2/2 or Right Hand of Zazzmatazz. Slave traders can be done in like 6-7 minutes (if in same system) and gives 8.5k lp + ~3 mil isk reward + 1-2 mil bounty. Zazzmatazz can be done even faster (no acc gate, only need to kill 3 key ships and one building) and still gives stuff worth ~7-8 mil (reward+lp+3 bounties).

Edited by: FT Diomedes on 06/12/2007 19:28:05 All the missions I listed give an excellent ISK/hour ration. Gone Berserk might be the absolute best mission on this count.
Skills, both SP and real skills, make a huge difference.
Given that I can make about 70 million ISK off AE, and it takes me slightly longer than an hour to kill, loot and salvage, it's an excellent mission. ------------

hi, not calling you a liar; I would like to learn more from you as it would help me. how did you do a L4 AE and loot and salvage in 1 hour ? what ship do you use ? and setup ? am I right you probably use 2 ships ?
Agree with the 70 Mill ISK but it takes me 2.5 hours to do as you do
any help appreciated

Dont forget damsel in disstress. Lots of battleships and good loot off them, and since the battleships dont have much of a tank they are pretty easy to kill and to complete the mission unless you mess up and let all the spawn come in ending up with you having 15+ battleships pounding away at you. But if done right it should also get to 30 mil easy.

Edited by: Sue Malorie on 09/12/2007 12:42:15 Extravaganza, gone Berserk, blockade, assault + some merc missions + EoM and other rare cartels. They all bring good salvage and loot. Angel salvage > Sansha / Blood raiders > Mercs > Guristas > Serpentis. EoM and Mercs drops alot of savage, either metal scrap or things you can build rigs with. While looting Serpentis lvl 4 missions I sometimes get the best T1 remote armor reppers, 'Solace' - used by logistic ships, Oneiros as example from Serpentis BS. Serpentis Lvl 3 and below don't drop so much nice items and the same goes for Guristas. Sansha / Blood raiders and Angels will always give good salvage items, but lower levels - less good looot.
Some rat BC and cruisers may drop better loot than BS. As example E50, best T1 dmg controller, Arbalest cruise missile launchers etc. To find the dogtags, you may loot smaller ships. BS drop large weapon / module stuffs, but the price may not be so good for selling, but ok for reprocessing. Shooting down alot of BS in a missions don't say that they will give better salvage or loot. Few BC can drop much better loot than one BS. For lvl 3 and above, it's worth to salvage and loot every NPC ship wrecks.

Yes, I use two ships on AE. I use a cruise CNR and a permarunning dual rep Hyperion with 350mm Rails. I blast through the first five rooms as quickly as possible, bookmarking a wreck in each room. I try to kill the battleships first to get all the spawns in each room as quickly as possible. Then the drones can help without fear of aggro. Either ship can tank a full spawn in the first five rooms.
I then jump into the bonus room with the Hyperion first, then the CNR. The Hyperion flys away from the NPCs, killing tacklers first, then BCs, then BSs. The CNR kills cruise batteries first, then HACs, then anything else. The Hyperion should theoretically be able to tank it all without moving, but it needs the range anyway to hit anything. The Hyperion is faster (even without an AB) than all the NPC ships except the tacklers. Once enough NPCs are dead, the Hyperion begins flying to the battlestation while both ships keep killing. The CNR does this as well. Once the respawn is dead, I blow the station and the retirement home.
Then I come back with a salvage-rigged Catalyst and a Badger II. The Badger II gets the ammo, drones and etc from the retirement home and gets cans from the Catalyst if its cargo gets full. It took me seventy minutes from initial warp in to getting the last wreck last time I did it (was a very busy seventy minutes). ------------

some of the blood/sansha missions seem to be top isk for me, pretty quick to kill off and quite a few melted cap consoles. AE seemed decent as well. Never been a big fan of guristas or serp missions though. Your signature graphic must reflect your ingame persona as per The Forum rules - Kreul Intentions ([email protected]) |

Aye, but the bounties are nice too in 1/3. Not that I've kept track of actual isk total, but those 1.2mil BS have to be good for something. For some reason, I haven't gotten it in a long time, otherwise I'd know the isk amount as well, the wallet journal shows it very conveniently.
