Trinity 1.0.1 coming soon and nothing in the patch notes about this issue. Any chance of some dev feedback regarding it? ---------------

I have it too, its like playing the game in a vibrating chair. Docking and Undocking doesn't help me. I will try and clear the cache and see if that helps. Reseting the graphics doesn't help either. The only thing I have found so far is logging. _______________________________________________ RuntimeError: ChainEvent is blocking by design, but you're block trapped. I was having this problem as well. I updated my video drivers and haven't seen the problem for 2 days. (http://laptopvideo2go.com/ for INF files that allow you to install the latest unified driver with your mobile card. ) I also lowered my cache setting on the client to Low. (I am usually running multiple clients).

So far, clearing the cache has fixed it for me. I played for about 4 hours and nothing happened. If it happens again, I will get new drivers. _______________________________________________ RuntimeError: ChainEvent is blocking by design, but you're block trapped. This bug not on the patch notes makes me sad :(
Interesting note: I can only reproduce this bug (without a blob appearing) by searching for an item that is not found in the market. So it may be due to some infinite database query loop thing of doom that forces everything to continuously refresh? Who knows... FEEEKS EEET

Yeah.... sad i did not seen in patch notes about this as well. The client keep hammering hard drives while this problem appers. But its seems to me it helps if i dock in station its stop to do. After i undock sometimes it come back very shortly or dont bother me for hours. Thats is what is most confusing thing aboutthis.
Also i have noticed it do not matter if you are in blob or travel alone in empty systems this problem appers everywhere and start shaking my ass out of chair. [/url] |

I have had this behavior occur and then disappear recently. Never at state change (warp/dock/jump). I thought it might change at zoom (F10), or "look at" (specific target), but these do not affect.
Jitter for a few seconds to many minutes, then stops - sometimes.

Is this still present after the 1.0.1?

Hmm, strange.... since setting shadows to "off" AND cache size from "high" to "normal" the effect almost disappeared. In very rare circumstances I still get the FPS drops (mostly inside of stations when opening IG browser or market).
If this has anything to do with my new settings or with Patch 1.0.1, I cannot say.

I gotta believe this has something to do with the way certain cards cache the data. Though I'm not 100% certain of this. I have a laptop with Vista and an 8600 GT running EVE Trin with high end output and don't see this problem (or if its there, I rarely notice it).
Yet, my 7800GT on my tower system I see this almost constantly. Its VERY annoying, and trying to change settings does nothing for it. Its puzzling. I will try and test with it some as I'd love to see it fixed, but its a pain.

You know, one thing for me that gets the flicker going on my tower is clicking the mouse. Anywhere in the application window. I can be out in a roid belt mining and left clicking anywhere in space a single time with roids in view causes em to flicker.
Its hard as all get out to screen cap, but its easy enough to recreate.
