As far as I can remember since 2005 at least, there never was a problem or issue concerning EVE patch day that was as BIG as this current Boot.ini problem. For those not affected, it might not seem as serious but IT IS.
The purpose of this thread is to NAME this event so it goes down the EVE history books as a reference to something that people will always remember it by. Just like the Great Northern War event that is always referred to just by the GNW, this current event can also be remembered like that.
So let's get creative and throw out some suggestion to NAME it, there are no judges, the most accepted one by everyone or most used will be the winner.
Just to recap on the events:
EVE launches biggest update, the Trinity which went without hitch (for now) and delivered the patch early by 4 hours. But for the Windows XP users that installed the patch via auto-installer and then upgrade it to Trinity Premium upgrades and proceed to shutdown their PCs after all the ooohhh and the aaahhhhs, find that they can't restart their Windows on their next reboot because the boot.ini file for Windows was mistakenly deleted by EVE installer.
So with that, I'll leave you all to name this HISTORIC event that can be referred to by players, devs, gaming industry and the general public. Person who successfully names the EVENT will have bragging rights :P

Well obviously, Windows was too powerful in pvp, so this is just a simple Windows Nerf. So if anyone asks about what happened with the new path, just say "CCP Nerfed Windows. "

The 'Boot.ini Event' I think sounds suitably dramatic.
It has the 'ring' of megadeath virus outbreak as a result of evil Biomedical reaserach going horribly wrong. Like something that Micheal Crichton might use for his next book title.
