WTF, Ok seriously, this is rediculous, mission running used to be fun and reasonably quick, I could fire up eve have some fun make some isk play for an hour, then these idiots that pass for dev's decide to add salvage, which doubled the time it takes to run missions and made us learn new skills just to do, and you still make less isk.
NOW they ******* make loot so redicuously massive that it not only takes a rediculous amount of time to loot and salvage but now your running back and forth to station to unload cargo this is INSANE!!, there is no reason for this.
ooooo you gave us new BS's with bigger cargo hold which are still USELESS because loot is so massive WTF were you thinking, this trinity bull**** just gets more and more rediculous!!.
FIX EVE!!

Now you also learn why ratters despise drone region rats. 150m3 in alloys per BS and frigs and cruiser alloys aren't even worth taking.
You still need to refine those alloys to get a single isk

Ok so I may have been a bit excesive with my op but, this is seriously lame, what are ratters suposed to do, or people pvp'ng this effects everyone and makes getting any considerable ammount of loot in any reasonable time moved impossibe.
The only way this can be acceptable is if they make a ship desined for looting and salvaging, its still stupid, and unecessary, but unless we can get a ship for looting a lvl4 missions with 10k m3 atleast its useless.

Perhaps a revelation is in order:
Bring a partner specialized in hauling and split the profits. They want to push team-work and phase out soloing.
You could have two accounts, but I'd hardly call that fun. A little networking goes a long way, brings you more ISK, and you spend less money than managing a second account.

NO NO NO they phase out soloing they phase out alot of players, im sorry I just dont have tons of time to organize gangs, right now i can barely make enough isk to keep my account active, i really dont have enough time to be forming gangs.

exactly and why would i split the money with a guy thats just gonna sit there while i kill everything and risk my ship so he can just clean up after. Its dumb, mission running is just one of those things that is there for people to do when they dont have group stuff to do.

i use a second account (and a second screen) i currently use my one video card for two classic clients, but i may get another card for two new clients, anyway. Get something similiar to "saitek pro gamer command unit" if possible, it's a small keypad that you can set module activate buttons on. The shortcuts you should have right under your hands can go like this. Oh use a ship with 8high slots, i think i use catalyst with cargo expenders. Module 1-4 (tractor beams) 5-8 (salvagers) these buttons must be accessable at all times. Stop ship (you need it when there are many wrecks around you, when this happens, stop ship, tractor, hit salvage, stop tractor and pull another wreck near you) CTRL on one of the MOUSE buttons, this is a MUST HAVE for every pilot, logitech's g3's extra button that can be clickable with the thumb works excellent. This increases the time you spend on targeting by 1 seconds, while salvaging 100wrecks, this is more than a minute. CTRL+A shorcut. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR LOOTING. hit the shortcut, it selects every item, drag drop. Open CARGOHOLD shortcut. For the same reasons. Then hit the button again to close the window. Two afterburners and their seperate shortcuts. One is mwd, other one is a normal one. If the wrecks are WAY too seperate, for like, 100km from each other so you cant even warp but still far, take bookmarks for each section of mission (usually two-three) then come back after finishing the mission with your main. Then you can use the mwd. Afterburner is for mid mission looting-salvaging. Dont overuse it as it sucks cap. But you need it when mission has like 4-5 sections, and your main is doing the 2. one, and wrecks are not that far away from each other.
For the ship, you will need one mwd, one afterburner, four tractor beams, four salvagers, cargo expander, nanofiber and that low slot capacitor recharger thingy. Other than the skills that are needed for the modules, you need high capacitor skills, so it actually lasts. For example. When i'm doing level 4 missions with a friend, i can fight with my main and salvage with the alt when that section of the mission is done OR mission doesn't send in any more ships that can target the salvager. I may run out of cargo space once. But i just move to the next mission after taking my bookmarks with the salvager, and return with the salvager to get the loot can, then continue with the salvaging the newer mission.
With some multitasking skills in RL hehe, two screens (i took my second screen from my oold computer, well, i'm a salvager afterall), well prepared enviorment, you can do salvage and loot missions faster than you finish do them and have time to drop the loot, buy something off the market and make it to the next mission :b
And YES it pays off, two-three level 4 missions give 40million of salvageds-loot sometimes even more. I really dont suggest salvaging-looting with the main ship as it absolutely slows you down.

Well I agree that this was a pointless and unnecessary nerf, but wouldent this work about as well…?
1. get salvage / looting destroyer 2. jetcan some loot 3. tractor beam the can and drag it around while looting/salvaging 4. keep dragging loot from the desi’s cargohold to the jetcan 5. when your finished looting, BM the jetcan, warp back to station and grab a hauler. -

SOLUTION:
Hi, I'm an EVE player that adapts. My adaptive thinking mind thought up a brilliantly adaptive solution to your problem!
1) Get an indy, a destroyer, and salvage fittings for said destroyer 4) Stuff the destroyer and fittings into said indy 5) Dock at station in system of mish 6) Loot mish: - Jetcan the loot and just tow the jetcan around as you salvage, theres no way any single mish is filling the jetcan. When you're done, dock and stuff the destroyer and fits back into the indy, pick up the cargo container you bookmarked with the mish loot, go home. 7) Repeat 8) Ignore steps 1-7 and just give me your stuffs.

I just salvage the wrecks and jet can the loot then come back in an industrial for the can of stuff, not so difficult. Sure it may take a bit longer but hey, no free rides.

Bring someone you trust to salvage and loot.
What CCP are probably trying to do is make the game more fun for dedicated salvager/haulers, giving them a specific niche. Good on them. I think this change is brilliant and will probably mean I get invited along to more missions. If you don't know any salvager/haulers you can trust, then maybe it's time you made some new friends.
