The Amarr, Minmatar and Caldari ships still have the same character, look like they're made of the same material, and they look better with the new graphics. The shiny reflective plates on the Amarr look perfect against the duller gold body, the minnie and caldari ships are the same color as before but more metallic. I don't understand why the Gallente ships got a total revamp complete with oxidation. I imagine it's a reference to the statue of liberty, since the gallente are the space french, but there's not enough oxygen in space for copper to oxidize. Yeah it's an interesting effect but...that's an awful lot of light green when you see it plastered across the giant shoe that is a Dominix or Vexor. And the Hyperion, that used to be a dark ominous ship with bright green lights and now it's pretty lame looking.

T2 ships are very very nice, all ships that don't show that damn green are very nice, thanatos is nearly impossible to be looked at.. Oh was forgetting: Arazu color was totaly changed from green to yellow, why? it was cool with the 4 flashing light.. even if the model sucked hard... Megathron is very very cool with the "different" color, like vindi, marauders etc but the damn standard megathron lose a LOT of points due to the color.. i just think that Trinity could be renamed in "Gallentean Nerf Fest". I mean, all other races are just completely happy of the re-design, gallentean whine.. even if 20-30% whine how damn was made like this... people used to fly ships for years and now find a complete different color set... is NOT normal... that green make "feared" ships greenish and realy realy bad looking... the same models with a better "green" would realy OWN! They may not look like much while in station, but I think they look best while out flying. Some of the systems that I have flown through have really made my ships look fantastic. This actually made me laugh pretty hard, I havn't seen anything this ironic in awhile. Whining, at least to me, is saying you're going to quit a game and lose all the time you've invested in it because you have to look at new ships designs if you even download it. The simple fact that the OP is complaining about an OPTIONAL upgrade to the visuals, makes this thread one of the biggest whines I've seen in awhile. If you dislike the new graphics, then stop whining and don't upgrade. I would have also accepting "lemming", but "sheep" is decent.

In number of systems (due to backgrounds) they do look very very hideous. It should have been a green and metallic (or bronze) combo, with the "Awesome dark green(TM)" from Ishkur reserved for T2 cookies.

Fact is, a lot of people are sufficiently upset with the G blue colors to produce thread after thread on the forums, for several weeks now. At least 2 people loving G Blue to every 1 hating it in every thread? That there is a straight up lie I think, but no matter, I'm not going to count. I'm just not going to take the effort to respond to such bs, which is present in all your posts, from the one I originally responded to and onwards. First you've only heard of 5 or 6 against (lol), then you either speak for 250K players, or deem all forum threads unnoticeable, since not a single forum thread gets participant numbers that would statistically matter against 250K. But that's not how it works, the forums can be considered to be a sample, and that sample clearly shows a lot of people hate the G Blue colors. Oh, telling people to stick with the old client, and just be satisfied with that, is pathetic. I won't respond to you in this thread anymore, so go ahead and spout whatever fanboi crap you like, the field is free, no resistance.

(should make with gallente ships somehow rich-brown colour lol)
