You're the minority Qui, deal with it. No one I know personally "hates" or even remotely dislikes the color changes, and I've only read 3 forum threads with a total of about 15 people that hate them.
Only one person has said that they would quit because of the color changes.
Fact of the matter is, Eve does not look at this forum to determine it's balance changes. How many dev posts are in this forum each week as opposed to other forums, such as general discussion? No dev cares if you hate the color changes, and it will never be changed. Live with the option to have either of the color schemes.
Edit: "5 or 6" was being generous. I have havn't heard a single word uttered ingame about "how awful" the color changes are. If you add up every person on the forums that have made a negative comment towards it, I'd guess the total to be around 70.

as i said in another post:
The fact is that gallentean colors don't federate. There are no calda pilots "whining" for the graphic update, no one (yes, the night hawk). The gallentean pilots are divided, don't argue we are not, this thread and many other threads + many feedback posts are a proof. So it is establish that there is a problem with the colors.
THEN it is not our duty to determine if yes or no the colors are hated by the majority since it's easy to cheat votes with alts. It's ccp duty. Our duty is to catch the eyes of the devs and give feedback. So we don't like the colors, you like the colors. We (errr I =) I don't blame you to love 'em, don't blame us to hate 'em.
And as a i explained in another topic, this feedback is valuable because the graphic update is a feature that should bring new players into the game and make eve competitive with the other mmo graphics. What if, if these eye candies sux ?! Work wasted... Money lost... Im sure ccp don't want that.

I cant understnad why anyone would quit or at least threaten to quit over a few colors, madness if you ask me.
Anyway I like the new colors, I dont however like the new Raven but I'm not gonna complain like a child and quit.

New gallente ship colors are better than before, if you don't like it then disable the optional free graphics expansion, and no, the game designers will not recolor an entire races ships because of an extreme minority that doesn't like it when their ship doesn't match their handbag, now:

The colour is rather horrible. But one thing that bugs me the most is the domi. It always looked like a big head to me and eyes that looked at you, now for some reason they have the eyes facing in opposite directions from each other. It really dose look pants on head ******** now.

The crew say the default Gallente color is not macho. You can't be hard and fly pastel.
Fortunately the only Gallente ship we regularly fly is the Occator, and that is a lovely almost black with maroon highlights, just what we wanted. Thank you Gods!
Plus, the Cerebus has battle tank camouflage  , well impressive. The Navigation lights are floating in space with no visible attachment to the ship, but that's a minor detail.
My alt says the change of mining lasers from orange fire to lightning bolts was a surprise.

I agree, depending on the system you're in, the lighting effects that play off new color scheme looks great. Maybe author of this title should leave the station before snapping to a conclusion.

The first few seconds after seeing the new colors on my beloved ships were a real shock, but I have gotten more used to it especially since it fits in with the shiny/oxidized gold/lead/steel/copper T1 race theme. You gotta admit it's a huge change from before for the Gallente whereas the other races got a recognizable improvement.
And no, none of you can have my stuff.

You do know that if we did that, unless there was an over 50% vote, which is pretty unlikely, people would complain just as much because more than half the people didn't vote for it...
Unless pink was an option. Because ALL gallente ships looks spangtasticly sexy in pink, and that is a known fact.
And you think gallente got shafted ? All minmatar ships are ... still brown. Just more detailed brown. I mean colour scheme wise, green and blue beats lots of brown.

well i haven't had much chance see most of the new ships. I think the blue on the domi needs to be a bit darker but I don't fly gallente so I don't really care.
Mass changes aren't just hitting gallente. my malediction went form dark angels green to a almost caldari grey colour, but I like that, it makes it look more bad ass
