You think CCP put it there in the first place?
Think about it. Suddenly word gets round that Jita 4-4 "now faces the right direction" (whatever ). Whatever positive effect this will have, EVEN MORE people will then roll on to Jita and it'll just become worse, and it *wouldn't* stop the people who undock outside Jita, then just go AFK, spinning people off in random directions.
There's plenty of ways around the jam you speak of.
A) create a warp-out insta bookmark (Blackscreening? doesn't happen to me (aka WFM)...) B) DON'T GO to Jita. C) If you're only going for bits and bobs, use something a little more agile than an indy or freighter, destroyer does a good job and has a reasonable cargohold.

Why not turn the station around, sounds like a sound choice that I can't imagine would be hard to implement. A few minute quick fix changing the station vectors, uploaded after next downtime. I can't see many people objecting to this, except perhaps station campers.

Yes, if at all possible, do not place my ship into space while my screen is still black while loading population data. How am I to fend for my ship and take action to keep my ship in one piece if I have no control over it nor any visible information on my screen about me environment and current threats in it?
Couldn't some routine be added to undocking or even fleet-warping that verifies that the corresponding population and environment data has been loaded before the player gets placed in space? Instead of the other way around that seems to be the case now from what I'm reading above, placing the player in space and letting him pray to the gods of EVE that he still be alive when his screen finally comes alive after undocking/warping?

Try this.. rather then just undocking and trying to warp away immediately and playing bumper cars..
the moment you undock.. look straight up or straight down.. then dbl click so your ship will go either up or down.. then you can warp away at your leisure while everyone else sits there trying to go straight ahead or at some other ineffective angle.
remember.. this is lame 3d space.. there is an up and down ------------ This is not War... This is pest control - Dalek Sek

Jita 4-4 is a vital part of the Eve economy, so anything CCP soes to make it easier for people to painlessly come and go, will only enhance the game as a whole. You're looking through the wrong end of the telescope. The goal should not be to put the paying customers through extra grief in the hopes of forcing them to spread out. Here here. All they need to do is create a patch that, among the other things that it's gonna fix post Trinity-update, will rotate the station back the way it was before. Of course, that'll probably be a few more days/weeks seeing how many seperate issues have arisen since Trinity was released. Until then, all we can do is use the said methods to clear that situation and move on until a permenant fix comes.

I disagree, any increase in the performance of jita will only result in more people coming to jita, which is harmful to the game, not helpful to it. It is not possible to make jita lag free by making it easier for people to go to the system

International game, had no idea what time it was over there when downtime starts. There are lulls in the game where it's possible to freely move around jita when the population drops, I'd suggest finding one of those times that are accessable to you so that you can log back in and leave the system. It shouldn't take you any more than a week max and you should have a couple of windows when you can freely move in and out of the system

What?

If people leave system faster, there will be less people stuck in Jita. If there will be less people stuck Jita, i wouldn't be faced with a blackscreen. If i am not faced with a blackscreen, i can undock and leave.
Simple enough for you? Or do you need visual aid?
I think he was implying the fact that you said that your screen doesn't load to warp to the planet...yet you imply that you can warp to the stargate (autopilot or not) which surely would not be possible if your screen can't load. --------

Hmmm...
You know, if I ever have a reason to go to Jita, it would be to go in a Thorax or a Deimos with a MWD and multiple nanos and overdrives, and just go "Undockpoint Bowling".
Heck, I'd probably be given free ISK by players just for performing a community service by clearing that area!

4. Never, ever go to Jita 4-4 Caldari Navy Assembly Plant.
Only go to this awful place with an Alt, and make sure his transport is well tanked against random suicide bomber Kestrels, Caracals and Ravens at the undock point. This place is a deathtrap. With loading times of over five minutes on even high end machines, peak times are definitely to be avoided. Beats the hell out of me why everyone has to go to that damn station for everythingà

Yes, and i am trying to say that while the system is overloaded (because there are too many people bouncing on station), i get a blackscreen. If those people (bouncing on station), had an easy way out off the station and out of the system, they wouldn't be there, hence i wouldn't get blackscreen. And to give those people (bouncing on station) and easy way off it is to turn the station around
Lets try this again: -The cause of me blackscreening is dozens of OTHER pilots being stuck in the undock. -Remove those pilots, and i won't blackscreen (and then i could warp to gate or planet IV myself) -To help those pilots get off the station, turn it around.

I've been playing this game for over 2 years. I know all the empire's major hubs, and most of the secondary hubs. However, there are certain items that are only sold in Jita in sufficient quantities. These are moon materials, and most of the invention stuff. And yes i was in an alt: doesn't change the issue though.

While they are at at..
REDESIGN the stations in high volume systems.
Add 4 undocking bays, each on a different side of the station, when you undock you randomly get put into one, it would cut alot of the problems out with that station and also the station in RENS.

Would be a really good change. I hate when I play on my laptop, my screen doesn't load and there's wartargets outside of the station. Few days ago it took even longer than 30 seconds for my screen to load. I got a picture on the screen just in time to warp my pod out.

Heh,
This almost sounds like something Goonswarm might do. To force people to sell stuff in places other than Jita, send 1000 Alt accounts to Jita to jam it full. Then people HAVE to go somewhere else.

Hee hee! I wonder if something like that would crash the server? (Or at least the Jita dedicated section of it)
I remember when I used to play Planetside there was a bug where if you laid enough of a specific type of mine (the "boomer" mine. A shaped charge not unlike a Claymore) and then set them all off with an EMP blast, it would crash the server node, taking down an entire continent at a time.
It was done a couple times when one side was being badly beaten by another in a critical battle, a group of people on the losing side would go find a quiet hiding spot, lay an amount of mines over the critical amount and set them off, crashing the server and saving the battle. (when the server came back up in 5 minutes, the continent would be reset, allowing a fresh start) Obviously, this was a bannable offense, but with the ability to create trial accounts, and playing through proxies, it made it almost impossible to stop. Until they limited the amount of layable boomers to 5 per player. Then the effort required to crash the server was so high it wasn't worth it.
It would be interesting to see this type of behavior in use in EVE. Not that I would EVER encourage crashing the server. I'm just speaking from a sociological standpoint, it would be interesting to study the group dynamics involved in such a thing.
