Its taken 2 years, hundreds of combined pages of ideas and discussion in detail explaining how amarr could be boosted and all we have heard so far is. "We are looking into it"
"We haven't actually sat down to discuss Amarr yet."
and "We are looking for ideas ( something like that anyway)".
grats on getting the shiny.
the thing is, now most of the revamp is now done (barring strutures, planets, sfx etc). so ccp now has this big room full of designers they hired to do the 50(?) man years of work in 2 years.. all twiddling their thumbs/graphic tablets.. so making changes to textures is something easily sourced.
amarr changes would need to be done by tux/fend/tomb/zulu/hammer?? (no idea who is doing what out of this lot tbh..) and then tested so as not to be good.. erm unbalanced. plus its a hard job. noone likes doing hard jobs.. easier to let them slide and do the easy stuff.

More like a combined 40+ or something pages over at least 15 threads in two weeks, and anyone with eyes could spot the problem at a glance. Not saying it's the same, but lets not downplay the stir babyblue caused.
We got something, at least, and that's great. Has nothing to do with game balance though.

Lesson to CCP - Most EVE players are such 3dgey homophobic *******s that the ideal ship color is black on top of black on top of black. If you made a ship that actually made any system it was in blacker, it would be the most popular in EVE.
As a side note, why did you give my Nighthawk red stripes? Now it looks like it is menstuating, which is what women do. I am a man, DAMNIT! I need me some more black.

I think we should let CCP know when they do bad, but also when they do good. People will always differ in opinion, so the only way to affect things is by speaking up, and then CCP can take the democratic or the dictatorial approach. |

God i hope so.
Colors are fine they dont need a change at all.
And if they have to change, make them lighter instead of darker. More Blue on Silver instead of Grey on Chrome.

While I'm sure this probably looks better in action than it does in the screenshots, IMO I prefer the colors we have now. The "baby blue" never bothered me at all TBH, and I really find these colors to be dull from what the screenshots show. I wouldn't be upset if they left it as is, but if they must change it then please find a happy medium between the current color and this "new" color.

Whatever the artists like best is fine, they're the ones that have given the most time thinking about the colors. Any choice will make some people happy and others unhappy so at least the people responsible for the art should be happy. They're getting paid to design.
After the ****storm of less than helpful replies to my original post on the ship forum, any color is fine. Just not worth having to wade through the crap on these forums no matter what the feedback is.

I was actually one of the people who liked the light blue on the gallente, but I have to admit this definitely looks better. Hope to see it in-game soon.

I liked the current colors, My only thing was that the secondary color on the hyperion (grey) was a little *too* washed out and the patches of teal on the thanny contrasted a little too harshly against the secondary, other than that everything was fine, now, I dunno, these new colors make me feel kinda
Not that they are bad, it's just that they aren't as unique as before. 
Either way, give me my color picker. I'd pay a million isk per ship just so I could make all my ships pink.

Is it just me or is it just the same colour only greyed out ?
Havent seen it in action yet , but from the look of the screenies it's hardly a change.
I prefer the 'classic' colour schemes over the new all blue look.
The idea of a more uniform colour isn't bad , but the current colour , greyed out or not , just isn't working for me.
In another post i saw a pic of a mega photoshopped to make the current blue look royal blue , now that was damn sexy.
Looking forward to seeing the new version in action , but fearnig i wont be impressed , realy a shame as i love the new models.
