maybe a dev could actually state one way or the other but I don't think CCP would show a trailer and then the next day release different content.
the blue looks like it does in the trailer when your in space.

You are right ! Just, that in the trailers, the surrounding darkness don't allowed to see the bright blue.

Like hell it(babyblue) does. The only way you can make that disney color look good, is by hiding it completely in shadow. Which is what they did in the trailer, hide it I mean.

No, I to prefer the color scheme currently on TQ. Its a shame CCP decided to give in to the whines. Now the ships look dull, washed out, and loose a lot of the detail that made Gallente interesting to fly.
Chock up another failure due to whines...

Nope, i'm with ya on that one. I didn't like the new color at first, but it's grown on me.
Looking at what they did on Singularity to "fix" it, I'm hoping this doesn't make it to TQ. They look horribly washed out and lifeless now. The light reflections are all wrong now. It's easy to see if you go to an amarr station (yellow light), and look at several amarrian ships, several caldari ships, several minmatar ships, and then finally several gallente ships. The gallente ships now look out of place and look like they're stuck in permanent shadow when they should be lit up.

OK please people cut with negatives towards new colors. Yes you are Ammar/Caldari and live to see Gallente nerfed over and over. OK, you got it. A ton of stuff has been nerfed, but do Gallente really have to end up with current pathetic TQ color scheme? :( Please, stop supporting old colors.

I don't mind the new colors that much; though I like the current TQ colors better, they're closer to the navy and airforce greys. If those made anyone feel ghey its their own personal problem.
IMO the only ships that look better with the new color are the Hype and the Thanatos.

Just that little change makes quite a difference. The ships look like they are made of metal again.

nah, i just post with a caldari alt. If you look at all the pictures i posted above you'll see i obviously fly gallente. (that or i wasted a lot of time training everything through HACs just on the off chance they might one day change the colors of these ships)
i support the current TQ colors because they look much better btw.

Well generally I fly Gallente ships exclusively and I think the current live color scheme is perfect or damn near it. I honestly never understood what the problem was that people have with them. The new ôfixedö colors don't do the new models justice.

Regardless that I plan to stick with classic graphics until the new one gets some serious loving, I do want to thank for this change. I cant imagine how did that (baby blue and pancy coloring) happen in the first place, but thank (someone) it's fixed now.

While amarr are left broken for over 2 years now, CCP think its much more important to make gallente slightly less blue.

Its taken 2 years, hundreds of combined pages of ideas and discussion in detail explaining how amarr could be boosted and all we have heard so far is. "We are looking into it"
"We haven't actually sat down to discuss Amarr yet."
and "We are looking for ideas ( something like that anyway)".
