Edited by: Birkinz on 14/12/2007 11:20:47 Edited by: Birkinz on 14/12/2007 11:17:23 It definately does look interesting. Is it feasable to swap the resistance rigs for CCC and the cap booster for another INV field since the 3 rigs seem to give the same benefit as 1 inv field but uses more cap. Not that used to cap boosters so I dont know how it pans out.
The 3 magstabs is a nice advantage over my normal passive set up, but I dont fancy turning on that shield booster with blasters going and that MWD fitted.
My feeling is that if you are trying to engage more than one ship in a small gang fight there will be cap issues. What is your experience with it?
I would also call it "Ultimate Gank" since you could get more tank out of it quite easily.

ive been screwin round in EFT a bit. and it does seem to be a pretty damn tight fit. with 1 cpu to spare ( using the best named shield boost amp for cpu problems ) and cause im at work i cant work at it right now. _______________________

Edited by: Birkinz on 17/12/2007 14:03:44 So for anyone still interested I played around and went with a fairly standard fit of:
Hi: 4 x Siege II, 4 x Heavy Diminishing Energy Neut Med: 3 x Inv Field, 3 x LSE II Low: 4 x Power Diag II, 1 x SPR II Rigs: 3 x Core Defence Field Purger.
It has resists of about 69% - 75%, over 24000 shields and a peak recharge of 119/sec.
It drains 100 cap per second with all 4 neuts on, and 1 is actually cap stable. I was toying with swapping the SPR for another Power Diag and seeing if I could get two cap stable.
It clearly needs someone to paint targets if you dont want to sacrifice tank. I may well swap the torps to blasters when my skills are better (this may also require the SPR to be swapped for a power diag).

Originally by: Katanaha Edited by: Katanaha on 11/12/2007 15:59:30 after some testing on the testserver, i found that this rokh setup did fairly well on the small gang warfare part. here is my setup:
--Highs-- 4x Arbalest Siege ( or blasters depends on personal preference ) 4x Heavy Unstable
--Meds-- 1x Heavy electro / T2 cap booster. 1x XL Shield booster, ( t2 or best named depending on skill ) 1x Invul field 1x EM hardner 1x Thermal hardner 1x Boost amp.
--Lows-- 2x BCU II 3x PDU II
--Rigs-- 3x egress port maximizer I
Why this setup. i found myself constantly anoyed by these nano ships / super tank ships. thus i made a ship capable maintaining its own cap ( for a short period of time ) and still tank quite well. while taking out the hostile Capacitor so its helpless ( especially against ammar and gallente ships this is quite effective ) not being able to rep itself while you maintain quite cap stable due to the rigs taking away a large portion of the cap penalty using destabilizers. no points or webs thus also relying on your gang to hold the hostile's down. i was quite impressed of this setup when i was fooling around with it an bit.
any suggestions / comments will be apreciated. ( since i personnaly have no idea what to put in the lows )
p.s as you might have noticed my english isnt that good, since its not my main language.
this fails.

Hmm, this looks like a very interesting setup, my only question would be: would it be worth swapping the SBA or one Invul field for a tracking computer with tracking script?

Originally by: Birkinz What are ppls thoughts on the Torp vs Blaster argument on the Neut set ups. My feelings are blasters due to the Rokh range bonus as much as anything and a reluctance to fit a target painter.
It may produce cap issues though.
With a blaster XL tank rokh you maximise all bonus' for the ship. It's not really a solo ship as it's got a real sluggish feel (better since trin tho) Fly it in gangs of >5 even use it as bait if needs be. If you want to fit as a nos-boat its probably better to go completely down that route:
(for jokes)
4 x Heavy Neut II 4 x Heavy Nos II
1 x XL Shield Booster II 1 x Shield Boost Amp II 2 x Invul Field II 1 x Heavy Cap Booster II 1 x 100MN MWD II
