I think 1 of the req. in joining ANY of the MC corps is that alliance is always first and if you have a problem shooting anyone you know it isn't the place for you.

BOB: Over-reacting Coalition: Over-reacting What I see here is MC, KIA, Ev0ke and Outbreak moving to secure an area that Bob can't possibly hold anyway and just take it as their own. I don't see anything in Seleene's post saying that anyone is going to attack BoB (Beyond taking over PB itself, which BoB would be foolish to stop). MC has further said that they are available for hire after PB is secured by the alliances involved "Tortuga". So Tortuga is going to take over PB and be available "for hire" after all is said and done. IMO Bob should be thrilled. So should FIX: MC and KIA don't engage in wars on their own generally. From what I have seen they only fight when hired to do so or in self defense. Ev0ke and Outbreak are more nomadic and are probably thrilled to have an area to call 'home' but will more than likely wind up wandering around like they always have for the most part. Returning to PB to defend if need be or as a 'safe' area to generate ISK in when they need to. They are securing an area of 0.0 because it's healthy for them to do so. So FIX and BOB are bent because MC, KIA, Outbreak and Ev0ke decided to take a corner of 0.0 that neither of them could hold? Why? It places a truely neutral entity squarely on one of their borders. A neutral entitity with HUGE teeth that is unlikely to attack them unless hired to do so. Why they feel betrayed is also beyond me. MC is a Merc unit and could have been hired by their enemies at any time had the enemies of BOB/Fix ever really had the urge or desire to do so. According to an MC person only 1 alliance has ever even offered a contract against BOB. SirMolle feels betrayed because the Mercs decided it was time to secure their home and kick all the harassment forces out? Why? It's not like bob was defending the area anyway. FIX feels threatened? Why? Is MC now somehow evil and hostile to you or attacking you? As to the coalition? Why you think MC is going to suddenly turn and start attacking BOB is beyond me. They will be available for hire. I don't see anything in their official statements, and actually several have said they have no intention to (unless BoB escalates the current situation) attack BoB in systems other than PB. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the "tortuga" gang was willing to allow BoB to peacefully pull towers down and withdraw and allow the Tortuga gangs to take over without a battle. Just my take. Then again I'm a carebear in high sec. What do I know. ----------- EVNS, bringing quality carebearing to a solar system near you!
