In all honestly, love them or hate them, thats the most sensible thing MC have done in a long time. The one thing that has eroded their "guns for hire" image over the last few years is their living arrangements. Not strong enough to hold a region all by themselves against the likes of the major power blocs, and taking protection by any other power kills any legitimacy they might have. May I remind you who claimed who took FAT in here and who actually had all the work? Also may I remind you of who actually defended some alliance in the south, while some other alliance was obliged by treaty to help and was like nowhere to be found? I could also talk about certain alliances that were protected by treaty by a certain alliance but in the end had to abandon their homes because said alliance ordered them to. --- planetary interaction idea!
