i'm currently in iMune which basically means i'm solo fighting against potentially 200 targets (probably dumb in itself :D) so I jump into Sobaseki, RAK homeland hopeing for some kills. They got me once, I got them once, I wanna test out my shiny just born sac I just fitted. Warp to the isanamo gate and I see a rax .. its not RAK its actually REPO (didn't know we were at war but our dec's change daily and i've given up on keeping upto date) so i lock thew guy, he locks me ... neither engage as he's outmatched and i know he'll just jump.
With 5 RAK in local also I thought it best to jump and so do, Big suprise the rax jumps with me and comes out of cloak 6k metres away, so I lock web and scram and engage him. He actually fights me ( [Team America moment] I love your balls!) so I start to attack him. He is going down, albeit slowly, my missle skills suck.
Its obvious he doesn't stand a chance, but theres no trying to get away, although he may have actually managed it, and soon I see why. Local bump, then another, an ishtar comes out of warp and out come the wasp II's, i'm tanking fine so i continue to hit up the rax, a brutix also comes outa warp and engages, tank is suffering but holding up and the rax nearly dead, I hold out and pop the rax, mwd to the gate and tank until I can jump .. so far .. so good.
I then run like bloody hell with these two after me and it seems like they got an inside man on my ship, they follow pretty well, 4, 6 jumps out and they are still on my tail so I take a chance and duck into a dead end system hoping they'd blow past me. Give it five, then jump back in, phew they are gone ... little did I know the web was closing.
So I make for Amarr since I have seen small RAK numbers there previously, two jumps in and I see REPO in local again, so I keep moving hoping to lose them again, next sys, Raptor on the gate, he's much to far away for me to hit him and too fast to catch he tackles and I jump .. huggin on the other side of the gate does the same, local starts to go crazy and I make it back to the gate, jump to the raptor, then back to the gate to jump again hoping to get close enough to either engage the hugin or get away, as I ju,p again there are now 4 on the gate .. I'm screwed :D
So i (just) manage to get to the gate and jump back into the raptor when the worst happens. My athelon 800 can take it no more and my client goes poof leaving me probably to be dead meat and looking distinctively like a logofski scumbag.
What would probably have ended in a short if valient good fight turns out with me losing my ship and pod to a comedy killmail with them holding my ship their long enough for everyone and their mom to get on the killmail (even a helios, omfg the embarresment!).
Conclusion, buy a new computer you noob.
Good job to REPO for having a very efficiant method of spread and net, you got my number.
