The cause of the goons latest trend? Mittens gave the OK to stop fakeposting and start realposting. BoB is dying and we've accomplished what we set out to do. We really aren't the cancer of Eve that everyone believes we are. The actions of a few should not reflect on the many. You think goons pay their $15 to ruin a game that has given us so much fun? We care about the community and we care about you, even if we are pew pewing you in space.

If I had to guess I'd say that our enemies are terrified. Terrified that they can no longer take the moral high ground against us. Terrified that they were wrong. Terrified that it is indeed them that are the spammers, the cancer, the immoral. So they keep trying to troll our threads to get us to flame them. Hoping that they can justify their silly prejudices. Sorry, not going to work. **** just got real.

This thread is for discussion on this topic. Please stay on topic so I can try to understand this situation better. I'd like to think our enemies in game aren't as bitter as they appear. Posts that are spam or trolls (i.e. "goon thread not reading") aren't appreciated and I hope they get modded quickly.

I dont understand all the goon bashing I hear going on, I've been able to work with a couple of goonfleet members and I have never has an issue with any of them, they thought one of my friends was a spy and wanted to kill onsite but hey lol.

One lesson I have learned is that just like life, EVE has a balance that will come around and resettle things. Long answer: Goonswarm has ruined the forums with spam (purposely), they fall back on **** tactics to win the game and only a small core of your players are actually worth sh*t as pilots. My hate for goons started when the goonswarm alliance mail was leaked about shipping up to go blow up BoB's building titan ( epic fail, way to loose the most capitals ever in one engagement and not blow up anything of consequence guys ). In this mail a call for all pilots to get in a ship and to the system was made, the line that caught my attention was this: "Bring ibis's if you have to whatever it takes to lag out the system."

That my friend, is pure f*ggotry and game ruining lameness, and I personally will troll any thread by a GS member who is trying to act like he's got any position to ***** about ANYONE doing ANYTHING in this game. You guys are as low as it goes, and therefore should keep ur ****in yaps shut.

Anyone else remember when Goon posts used to be amusing? After the drivel they post on these forums day after day they don't even have the shock factor anymore.

Poor goons. Contributed little to the war that their big brothers have waged against BoB (yet try to claim all the credit), and aren't even running an effective forum war these days.

Maybe they can ask Santa for a sense of originality, or purpose? However, given their age group he's probably more likely to bring them some knee pads for their roller boots, a special plastic sheet for their bed, and a pair of Harry Potter pyjamas.
