ive just unlocked lvl4 missions with the caldary navy and was searching for agents. are there any lvl 4 agents in empire space that wont send me to 0.0 or is that part of the danger aspect of these higher lvl missions?

They'll rarely send you more then 2-3 jumps away. Low Sec is likely, I've never had one run me off to 0.0. I wish they all lead you to low sec or 0.0 though. I'd really help out the low sec population.

A kill agent will usually only send you a couple jumps - and I haven't had one send me across region boundaries. Therefore if you find a dead-end system surrounded by high-sec, you'll not get sent into low sec.
Also, you can decline a mission every 4 hours (or so - you get a warning if you'll take a standings hit with the exact amount) if your mission is taking you somewhere you don't want to be.
Drop by ANR channel for more info, and to possibly get recruited.

I've had kill agents send me across region boundaries but only 1 jump from the agent (specifically Dodixie to Athinard, but never to Meves.)

If you want to do level 4 missions for Caldari navy, go to Motsu, Saila, Oichiya. Those are high-security systems with agents which will never send you to 0.4 or lower.
The bad news is that those systems are laggy and crowded. I'ld advise to do missions for Amarr, Gallente or Minmatar.
To find agents, look at: http://www.eve-agents.com/
To find help with missions, look at: http://eve-survival.org/missions/ (works ingame browser)

Actually it'd kill the population of lvl4 mission runners and increase high sec mining population. -=^=- "Someday the world will recognize the genius in my insanity." |

Edited by: Jarod Hawke on 21/12/2007 09:45:26 Doing caldari navy missions in that region or any other is practically un-do-able because of the extreme lag in all the jita hubs... If you want to lose ships, do them. On the other hand, even missions in minmatar regions like frarn are lag fests now so I'm not even sure where in high sec it is good to mission anymore.

It's extremely unusual for my L4 agent to send me out of her home system.
On a related note - why did you choose Caldari Navy? Most of their good agents are overcrowded and their systems lagged out. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

If you are wanting to run missions with an eye toward raising your state standings you may want to try running missions for such corps and Peace and Order, and Internal Security.. both have some good level 4 agents in high sec.. and those agents are usually in systems that are less crowded.. which gets you away from horrible lag.

Edited by: Falkrich Swifthand on 21/12/2007 12:22:21 There's a crap and a moderately good Level 4 Caldari Navy "Kill" agent in Kakakela, a 1.0 sec system. 2 Jumps from Jita but they've never sent me there. The Agent in Motsu (0.9) is the best quality L4 "kill" agent the CN have.

From my experience over the years.
Agents only ever send you to systems within the same constellation as the agent. I've ran missions for years and never had the agent send me outside the constellation except for storyline missions with another agent.
So if all the systems in that constellation are high sec, then you'll never get sent to low sec. Even if the system next door is 0.0, if its in a different constellation/region you'll never get sent there by the agent. If 1 or 2 systems in the constellation are low sec/0.0, you'll be sent there from time to time. -----------------------------------
