Supermarkets at Christmas.
People are ******** pure and simple. I think there needs to be a change in the law so when some idiot with a trolley blocks an isle, no matter if its because they stop to talk to some other ****** or they just put their trolley at a stupid ******* angle, if they walk too damn slowly (even old people who serve no real useful purpose), if they stand covering part of a shelf for too long cause they are so ******* slow at picking something that they must know if they ******* want or not, also the shelf stackers who leave huge **** off trolleys blocking isles.
From December 20th the law should allow us to kill these idiots and have no legal repercussions. Supermarkets have CCTV camera's so the police could check video footage to make sure it's a righteous kill. Not only would we make supermarkets a somewhat more enjoyable experience, but we'd also make the gene pool all the stronger.
Of course, a fair few or you lot won't appreciate this as your mummy and ******* daddy do all this for you you ungreatful bastards.
Just like a young member of DFC. His dad pays for 2 accounts for him and what thanks does he get? His lad just gives him abuse on TS and keeps hinting that he hasn't got enough isk to buy more ships hoping his dad, who he slags off when he's not around, will give him some. Bloody scrounging kids.
Now that was cathartic.
Merry ******* Christmas to one and all __________________________________

I know exactly what you mean, trying to find a DS for the little one and failing miserably until I managed to call on the morning some new units came into a local shop. I ordered one of them right away and pootled off to go get it. When I got there the shop was PACKED, absolutely full of people and ALL of them were after a DS. I got in line for the till and three people in front of me this large obnoxious woman was demanding a DS but they'd just sold the last one. She was literally SCREAMING at the attendant and then she saw MY ordered one on a shelf behind the tills and demanded it. A guy at the other till said "Sorry, that's been booked" and she went off her head. I stepped in and said that I'd booked it and the guy confirmed that, she started shouting and screaming at me "HOW COULD YOU BOOK IT WHEN I'M IN FRONT OF YOU IN THE LINE!?" It went on like that for a while but since they wouldn't give it to her she eventually left. Serves her right, maybe she should have called and booked one. Little Ffion-haf is going to be so happy with the DS and some horse game that I got for her, nothing was going to stop me getting that DS, I'd have punched that woman's face in if she'd gotten hold of it.

I do, but my complaint was slightly different to the OP's, I was simply complaining about people wanting what they hadn't ordered, not them being annoying. People are annoying every day of the year so you just have to live with it. I wouldn't ACTUALLY have hit her by the way, but that's how I felt, you know?

I use a debit card to buy my lunch everyday - much faster and more convieniant than cash... (really, with chip+pin it takes 2 seconds)
I'm still awaiting the arrival of paying by fingerprint to this country. They have it in germany... -----

I hate Christmas. Too expensive, too stressful and just too much hassle generally. I did all my shopping online (apart from two small presents). Christmas shopping is a nightmare when you're out in public. Thank God for the Internet.
It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all outta ass. |

Logans run classic film. Although I would've been terminated by now.
Two Saturdays ago I was rushing around buying prezzies.
10am First stop garage for fuel. Bob (no not the egomaniacal alliance) who can barely walk is counting 2's and 1's for ú20 of petrol. He exclaims to Alf next to him slowing the other till down 'I always come out on Saturday to buy petrol.'
I make it to the train station to buy my monthly ticket and an old lady who lives across the road is asking about times and prices for a train journey she may take in a month. She covered every possible combination of fares and routes which she already seemed to know.
Trying to get out of Reading station car park I watched an elderly gentlemen execute a 30 point turn.
I nearly knocked myself unconcious on the steering wheel banging me head on it.

Yeah the train station thing, ****es me off too.
You get people who can't read where it says Advance Travel Tickets or Immediate Travel Tickets, they end up blocking for five minutes, then not even buying the ticket.

It's me, I'm day shelf stacker in da op.
I work at a supermarket after school to make some extra cash, and seriously, customers can be so ******* annoying. We have to leave the wagons somewhere, and it's always in the way of some customer, who then proceeds to whine about it, then we move it, and the next customer starts whining.

I wouldn't have minded so much if there had been someone there using the trolleys, but they were everywhere and not a single shelf being stacked.
But please see my original post in the humourous light it was intended __________________________________

I don't. It would mean, at term, the emergence of finger-cutting thieves. I prefer debit cards. Easy and fast to use, and you you get it stolen, well, damage is limited... ------------------------------------------

Having been in the retail business for several years I pay my utmost respects to the employees and cashiers of the stores (but not management, they can go to hell).
Between Thanksgiving and new years these people take so much abuse from ****ed off cranky customers who have to wait in line forever because the store refuses to open more checkout stands to make a larger profit.
Personally my hat is off to these people that put up with it and smile.
My personal peeve is when wal-mart sets up the return line for after christmas. I can imagine if you want to exchange pants for a size that fits but just bringing stuff back for cash just seems so unspirited.

I work in an electronics store and do the same thing, but nobody has whined at me for it in well over a year, which is nice. I get more annoyed at other members of staff who come and screw up my uber merchandising by overfilling sections with stock in all the wrong places, or putting new stock out and not bothering to price it so customers have no idea how much it is -----

Anyways, stores are also crazy out here. Stressed, tired customers plus tired, overworked employees seldom brings out the best in people.
